Daisy goes into a panic attack and rushes away to find Magnus, screaming his name. Flavio was left alone, unsupervised. He looks out the window and sees a bird. He smiles and runs out to the garden, following the bird. He sees a rabbit and claps. He approaches it but it hops away. He looks around and picks up something and runs behind it. He finally corners it and BANG. Kills the rabbit with a trowel. He stabs the rabbit a few times till he stops moving and ultimately dies. Flavio watches the rabbit for a few minutes without any expression and then laughs. He bends down close to the rabbit and says "don't tell anyone I killed you. I'll say you are sleeping. Shhh.. "

As I fought to inhale a breath of air one more time, every disaster and wrongdoing that brought me to my final moment popped up in my mind painfully slowly. Here we go, while the little movie was playing, I heard an odd howl as if someone – better said, a wolf — was calling for me. That wasn’t my wolf’s Sia’s voice. So, maybe the caller typed the wrong number in the otherworld telephone or whatever it was. This dying thing was so unclear!

It moves in the last minute, making me miss the area that could instantly kill him. Instead, I end up stabbing a part of its back. Something that won’t kill him instantly but definitely weaken it. My fingers trembled and I feel tears fill my eyes, making my vision blurry. Forcing myself to toughen up, I grab the rabbit by the ears and attempt to break its neck.

Still a customer? Rabbit pushed himself out of bed and stretched slowly, surprised when his back didn’t scream at him immediately for once. His throat still held faint remnants of soreness from last week’s incident, but the bruising had faded a bit more now beneath concealer and time. At least that was one less problem. His phone buzzed suddenly. Skyler: ARE YOU DEAD??? Rabbit snorted softly. Rabbit: unfortunately no Skyler: unbelievable Skyler: you vanished after your little romantic scene

I hear a small woof in the distance, and I look towards the tree line and see the dog standing there, almost as if he’s waiting for me. I hesitate at first, but Balin isn’t here, so I jump out the window, shifting midair and rush towards the dog. It’s then that I notice he has something in his mouth. A dead rabbit. Tomorrow is the mating ceremony. What if Balin notices the smell from me?
