Her eyes widened in horror. Whooossh, a sudden wind filled her ears, and she heard a loud pop. The side of her head filled with a sharp pang. Jade tumbled over, landing on her hip and arm. Her elbow had scraped against the pavement, causing her to wince. There were footsteps, but she couldn't tell the direction they were coming from because her head was throbbing and her right ear was ringing.

No one could possibly have two fathers. "Hic," Jane felt the hiccup raising to her throat again, "Hic, hic, hic." The hiccups couldn't stop. No matter how much she tried to cover her mouth, it continued to flow like a curse which make her to roughly beat her own chest with her fist, annoyed at the hiccups that came in such a strange timing. After that, Arthur kicked me in the stomach, banged my head against the wall, and verbally abused me to the point I could not endure it anymore, and I passed out. I'm feeling sick, and my whole body is tingling and stiff. My neck feels tight like someone is squeezing my esophagus with their fingers and choking me. My ears are ringing, and I can hear my own heartbeat at the last minute.

' I covered my ears to stop the ringing, swallowing saliva in a trial to moisten my drying throat. It felt as if my wind pipe was closing on me, forcing me to take in deep gulps of air.
