“Come on. If you want to survive — and stay you — we train.” They moved deeper into the forest, to a clearing scorched with old fire pits and charred logs. The ground bore faded symbols — circles and jagged patterns etched into the soil with white ash. Nathan’s expression darkened at the sight. “Old warding marks,” he explained. “Hunters probably used this place once.” He kicked at the ashes. “We’ll use it now.”

I have heard rumors of this happening in ancient texts, but it is incredibly rare. I slowly pull my hand away from his skin to inspect the mark. I gasp. The mark is stunning. It no longer looks like a standard Lycan scar. It has transformed into a thick, intricate tribal tattoo, glowing with the exact same deep blue hue as my personal magic. In the very centre, my specific coven core sign is burned deep into his flesh. Before I can speak, the blue lines begin to move. The tattoo grows, spreading out from his shoulder like a creeping vine. The blue lines travel rapidly down his massive bicep, wrapping tightly around his forearm, clinging to his skin all the way down to his knuckles.

I admire the tattoo taking up most of his back, it's similar to Storms. It's a pair of evil snake eyes in red, with a green and yellow snake wrapped around the pistol facing the red eyes of the evil snake. The words The Satan Sniper’s Motorcycle Club are written under the pistol. But what has me at a standstill is the shading that's done around the entire picture, it's a light shading but unmistakable. It's wings, Angel wings. I don't say anything. I want to but I'm tongue tied. I scan his back and stop at the blue bruises around his sides.

His lips touching my skin like if he doesn’t kiss me his life will end. The bite sent my body shaking unable to hold in all the pleasure. I still feel it when I think about it. My new tattoo is everything I wanted it to be. “N” covered in fur with Blue Moon behind it. A “V” covered in fur with a Blue Moon behind it is being added to Nathan’s collarbone. “Everyone is going to wonder why a V and not a T,” I tease him. “You are getting my common name on you.”

Gathering my hair, I tie them up in a high bun and lie on my stomach on the tattoo bed. Sitting on the chair, Madeline starts preparing my neck for the tattoo while she shows me the design which I have discussed with her. "It is perfect." I smile, looking at the sketch of Jarek's wolf. The eyes of the wolf are blue, other than black, just like Jarek's. When Jarek shifts into his wolf, his eyes turn black, while his usual eye color is blue. I wanted this tattoo to represent both parts of him, and that's why I asked Madeline to draw his wolf's eyes blue.

She puts her arm around his waist. Tyson gets a big goofy grin of satisfaction. "Oh yeah, one more detail. The tattoo is always in blue ink on the arm, I guess." The twins come bursting out of the play tent, "Mommy!" They are yelling and running to me. "What is it, girls?" I bend down, worried something is wrong. Rose grabs the paper with the drawing out of my hands. The twins look at each other, then look at me. Rose leans up to my ear and whispers, "That is what the blue people have on them. They have blue on their arm." Rose points to her forearm.
