Easy To Read Fantasy Books Novels & Stories

Reading a romance novel was something that I secretly enjoyed but usually never had enough time to do due to my busy schedule. Since I was a kid, I had always loved fairy tales. The kind of stories that drew me in, and made me feel like I was transported into a magical world, and feel emotions like fear, happiness, worry, or excitement - to name a few. It felt good to be away from the harsh reality, even if it was only for a while. Because in fairy tales, they always end with ‘happily ever after’. It was brand new. Blaze wasn’t aware that she preferred this genre. Derek Landy was known for his dark fantasy books. Dang it! He should have let her choose on her own right from the beginning. ‘Right’ His wolf chimed in, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Lilith brought the open book close to her nose and breathed in deeply. The feel of the smooth and crisp paper, that magical smell of a book being opened for the very first time was soothing. She felt lucky for being the first one to open it.

The need to have something that belongs to her in my hands overpowering the need to wrap them around his throat. Bart tries a few more numbers while I study the novels stored carefully in the old bookcase. I recognize a lot of fantasy books, some historical novels and a lot of romance novels. My fingers caress the backs of the novels until one in particular speaks to me. 'Tears of Tess.' I caress the front of the paperback. The cover is simple with the middle half of a woman on the front and the title crossing it. I flip it over and read the blurb. My eyes skim over the text as a small smile plays across my lips when I finish reading.

The room was quiet and the fondness of Ryuu from the content of the book swayed him to a couple of pages. A book of a man who was a foreign traveller in a far far away place. A world full of creatures which the mind could only comprehend; fairies, elves, talking trees, eater plants, humongous reptiles, birds could swim to any bodies of water, everything in the world of the Book could not be seen as normal on Earth. In addition, there was something mysterious in every character of the Book. Something intoxicating in which a young boy who was not fond of Books, but missed the smell of grass in the summer, dust on the road, and rusty steel from the old buildings he used to pass by; could only i

I deserved better, this stupid year was just kicking my ass. Assuring myself of this, I took a deep breath out, running a hand through my hair as I crossed the road, headed straight into the library, putting my phone into my jacket pocket. The town library was exceptionally big, not too large though, but I must admit could hold quite a lot of books as they were rows upon rows. I made my way straight to the books about fantasy creatures, realizing that they were surprisingly many. Young Adult fantasy is a thing...like a big deal, I noted reading through so interesting titles, but not the specific one I was looking for.

Finally, little by little, they ended up together. This is an undeniably good story. Lei’s favorite genre has always been fantasy. He especially like those fantasy novels where he can enjoy the process of the character's growth, chapter by chapter. It gives him the feeling of being with the main character, venturing the danger and growing along with him. Lei smiled in satisfaction. As he was about to read the first chapter, something inexplicably came to his mind. He frowned, scrutinizing the book closely. He began to read the synopsis again from the beginning. Upon reading it twice, he suddenly fell into a deep thought.

Feeling at a loss as to what to do with myself, I decided to explore the library. Wandering through the currently empty house on my way to the library, I begin to find myself feeling rather lonely. Flicking Kenzie a quick text to see what she is up to, I walk through the door and into the library. Perusing the shelves I see that the majority are classics such as Charles Dickens and Jane Austin. But tucked away in the corner I spy one of my favourite fantasy series. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Curling up in the lone red leather chair I open the first book and begin to read.

"They are not as fun to read but as I have had dealings with a witch coven recently I figured it would be best to research them. For fun though, I like to read fantasy books so that I can get lost in a new world." He brings me to the fantasy section and I just stare at all of the amazing pictures on the front of these books. Forgetting that I am looking to read the books I pick one out judging by the picture alone. It shows a guy riding on the back of a golden dragon while another dragon breathes fire at him. "That is actually the second book in the series. Let me get you the first book and then we can come back for the second once you are done reading it." He helps.

Why can't they just have one or two really good books, instead of three or four adequate ones? I pick up one of them, see that it's about good and evil fairies that are at war, and quickly put it back. I am not reading four hundred pages of fake conflict and two fairy hunks fighting over a fairy princess. Give me a cliché werewolf or vampire story any day.
