Her Worst Nightmare

Her Worst Nightmare

' Ethan smiled as he looked down at his hands, where he'd peeled the label off the bottle again, this time somehow managing to peel it off in one piece, his fingers tearing a shape out of the thin paper. 'It's a story about one of their own,' he said. 'The first Angel to fall. The first one to question. The first one to defy. The one who started it all. It's a Gospel, but not one that was ever going to make the final cut. The book is the Gospel of Lucifer.' I sucked in a breath, felt my stomach flip, my muscles weaken. I stared at him, was unable to take my eyes off him. When I spoke, my voice trembled. 'Why did your parents have that book, Ethan?'

Summer Has Ended, And Winter Is Eternal

Summer Has Ended, And Winter Is Eternal

Deborah gazed ahead, lost in thought. “Years ago, there was another man, just as reckless, just as crazy. But someone stopped him. And he died without ever seeing the person he wanted the most. Until the end, he carried that regret with him.” I lowered my head. “How did he die?” “It’s hereditary. Before he went to find you, his organs were already failing. Just like his father.” Deborah’s voice cracked. She pressed a letter and a will into my hands. “He left these for you. Whether you read them or not is your choice.”

THE HUNT

THE HUNT

This is night so he don't actually see through me, but everytime he look up, his eyes directly at me. That shock me, but then he just look away. I sigh in relief, shrugged the thought and enjoy the boring night without anyone see me. I said, “Everyone is happy despite vulnerable to almost everything. Not even death they can possibly avoid it,” I said, and the foolish stop from what he's doing, and even slowly close the book in his hand. He didn't look up, so I added after I sneered at him, “This foolish is not exception. Why not party with everyone else while he's living on?” His lip slightly curve, and he open the other book this time. He said to himself, slowly, “This book... is said to co

Nothing Owed Deserves Eternity

Nothing Owed Deserves Eternity

Something twisted deep inside me. The person lying there was no longer me. A short while later, the woman on the bed slowly opened her eyes. She turned her gaze toward me and forced an awkward smile. "Host," she said softly. "Long time no see." Sadness flickered through me. In this world, she alone could still perceive my existence. "NODE, I lost," I said. The woman on the bed sighed. "The settlement had already been completed. Your mission is still considered finished." NODE, the Neural Outcome Determination Engine, paused before she continued in a calm, precise tone, "I intervened this time. If you fail to exit this world at the next node and another non-natural death occurs, no one will b

Elder John of the Silver Claw Pack stated, glaring at me as I walked in. “I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.” I smile trying to put on my polite princess look. “We have some questions to ask you before we come to a decision about whether to continue your time limit to the end of your 21st birthday or whether to end it at the commencement of the Claiming before passing the throne to Fenry.” Elder Horis from our pack, Black Claw, stated. “I am happy to answer any questions the council may have if the answers ease their minds and instill confidence in their decision.” I continue my ‘playing nice’ routine.

I can’t wait for the next chapter and look forward to this book getting an audio version someday! I have caught the subtle hints of fae, witches, and other paranormal characters who will likely be introduced and weaved into this story in the future. I love a balance of fantasy and romance!

FROM HERE TO ETERNITY

They have to talk about business. Octavia glanced around trying to suppress her smile. He kissed her cheeks. He held her. Those sent a cold feeling down her spine but she loved it. Her eyes darted around to see the direction he went through when her eyes locked with that set of familiar eyes. She'd recognize the eyes anywhere. She released a light gasp as they maintained eye contact. Charles?

Eternally Yours

Eternally Yours

VOLUME ONE: Eternally Yours Prologue Laying in the darkness, pain wrenches me, sending electrical currents throughout my body. As the pain subsides, I can see nothing at all in this black fortress, not even my hand as I hold it before my face. My breaths are shallow when pain suddenly jerks within me again, but I cannot let on that anything is amiss, for danger is all around. I turn over on the small bed and wrap my arms around myself, trying not to attract attention. I need blood, even though I am human, but I won't give my captors the satisfaction of knowing.
