She shakes her head with a small smile and mouths, "You can do this." I press my glove against the glass where her hand is. She mouths it again: "You can do this." I put on my helmet, repeating her words in my head like a mantra. 'You can do this. You can do this.' As I'm skating back to center ice, my eyes catch something in the crowd. My blood runs cold. Edward. Sitting in the stands about ten rows up, surrounded by empty seats like no one wants to be near him. And he's smiling. Not the fake smile he uses for photos, but a genuine expression of satisfaction.

The man’s lips cracked into a faint smile as he answered, “I’m feeling much better.” The video clip came to a complete halt at his point. The screen was paused on the man’s gentle smile. Vivian stood over there with her entire body frozen into a stone statue, leaving only tears pouring from her eyes akin to a collapsed dam. As she looked up at Edward, she spoke in a raspy voice, “Are you going to use him to coerce me again?”

“Are you satisfied?” Ed croaked as he saw Javier open his eyes and look around. Javier squinted, not in anger but with a smile. The oxygen tube was now just under his nose, making his smile very obvious. “You can still smile? You think everything is okay?!” Ed shouted. He really didn’t want to be angry at him, but Ed didn’t understand how Javier could still smile. There is nothing to laugh about right now. Javier slowly lifted his hand, wanting to reach Ed’s cheek, but he couldn’t stretch that far, and his hand couldn’t move any further.

My eyes drift up to his bound wrists, and I raise the scissors towards them. His whole body begins vibrating with panicked anticipation as I open the scissors around his smallest finger. Staring into his eyes, I flash him my fangs, and snap the scissors shut, cutting the finger clean off just below the knuckle. His muffled screams of agony fill the room as blood pours from his hand. “Might as well make it even,” I mutter to myself, and he doesn’t even notice me moving the scissors to his other hand. I go slowly this time, making him really feel it, squeezing the scissors around the same finger on his left hand.

He didn't intend to help in any way. Of course why would he ...he must be enjoying it. "Tell your dog to let me go." I yelled at him and that's when I noticed his eyes slightly widening. He changed his expression back to a cold one in a fraction of second. "Ahhh." I yelped in pain as his grip tightened on my wrist even more. It felt like my bone would crush. Tears started to fall down from my eyes and I hated it. He is the cause of these tears. I stepped on his foot and he let me go but he didn't yelp in pain. I expected an expression on his face but what I saw was shocking. I could see his smile under his mask. An evil smile.

“Your fangs, they are real?” “His fangs elongated a little more when he smiles. He moves closer to her. “You are welcomed to touch it, my lady if you are deeply curious.” Eve nodded and turns back at Adam’s crowd to make sure that he didn’t see her. She turns back to Dante and rub her thumb on his fangs. His fangs were smooth and white. She moves her thumb a little closer to the sharp point and gently slide it over. When she pulls her hand back, her smile becomes wider.

“Deal.” I look up and find Hollis right in front of me. A small scar still slices through his cheek from Eva’s blade, but it makes him look dashing. And it matches the thick scars on my back, the creak in my arm when I try to bend it still. He takes my hand from Eva, winks at her, and pulls me close.

I'm totally pissed off right now. Finally the meeting ended after an hour and the deal was done. Mr. Howard shook his hand with him and Edward brother after finalizing the deal. But then she, Linda, put her hands in front of him for a handshake. I'm not lying, I had imagined for hundreds of time as pulling her hands out from her body in my mind. Not to forget slapping on her face to stop her from giving that seductive smile. I was praying that he would refuse it though I know it would be rude not to do so. To my bad, he shook hands with her and that smile on her face grew even wider as if she'll tear her lips right away. He was expressionless as usual.

He smiled and shouted at her, "Elizabeth! Look at me!" With a clicking sound, the scene was fixed. The girl in the shot smiled with curved eyebrows.
