Chasing His Divorced Wife

Chasing His Divorced Wife

My company. The bookstore helped. It was small, cramped, full of old books that smelled like paper and time. I found myself in the art section, looking at books about modern artists. One featured a Seattle gallery. I flipped through it and found a small mention of Elara's space. "Emerging gallery with promising vision," the review said. I bought the book. At six forty-five, I walked to the gallery. It was smaller than Elara's Seattle space but just as carefully curated. Elara stood near the entrance talking to an older woman, both of them animated. She'd changed into a black dress, simple but elegant. Professional.

Bride Of Eldoria

Bride Of Eldoria

I was the only place in the entire estate where no one looked at me and saw a mistake. That morning I carried my treasures there: the porcelain doll’s hand, the black scale (now wrapped in silk and hidden inside a tin box), and a book I had stolen from the library (The Chronicles of Eldoria, Volume III, the one with the torn page that showed a serpent prince with eyes of living fire). I was tracing the outline of his face with a finger when I heard humming. Soft. Sweet. Like warm honey dripping off a spoon. Isla toddled around the corner, dragging a stuffed rabbit twice her size. She wore a white dress embroidered with tiny roses, grass stains already on the hem. Her curls were tied with blu

Dirty (short stories)

Dirty (short stories)

Chapter 1 The bookstore smelled like fresh coffee and old paper, the way it always did on event nights. Elena Reyes stood at the front of the packed reading room, microphone in hand, watching twenty kids and their parents lean forward as she finished the last chapter of the bedtime story. Laughter rippled through the crowd. A little girl in the front row clapped so hard her pigtails bounced. Then her phone buzzed on the podium. Once. Twice. Three times. She ignored it until the applause died down. Only then did she glance at the screen.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The First Time They Realized Their Love Story Had Become Someone Else’s Hope The bookstore smelled like rain and old paper. God. Warm yellow lights glowed softly across crowded wooden shelves while quiet jazz played somewhere overhead. Outside, ocean rain tapped gently against the windows, turning the entire little shop into something almost dreamlike. Elena Laurent loved places like this. Quiet places. Places that didn’t demand anything from people except presence. Meanwhile beside her, Adrian Laurent carried an increasingly unreasonable stack of books in both arms.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Elf King & I [Book #1]

The Elf King & I [Book #1]

***ABOUT THE BOOK*** The Elf King & I is a romance/humor/fantasy fiction set in the fictional world called Aldous (+ a few more) and the real world, USA. The relationships of the characters are: - BxB for main couples. - BxG for others. This story is bound to have some silly events to depict comedy scenes for a good-time laugh. Nevertheless, though the story may start light-themed at first, it is recommended to brace yourself for a heavy plot in the future.

Don't Reject Me, Alpha

Don't Reject Me, Alpha

He walked, rushing to welcome his first potential customers. “Welcome to the red rose bookstore!” he greeted kindly. He politely invited his first customer, who turned out to be an old woman with a teenage girl around the age of seventeen. “Is there anything I can help you with,” he offered with a kind smile. The old lady in eccentric clothes looked at Addy intensely. Her wrinkled hand pointed at the teenage woman on her right side.

Bite me, Twice

Bite me, Twice

she said to herself as she slowly walked back to her own room, "I won't be able to resist tearing him to pieces." The bell above the door jingled loudly as Ean entered "Lawrence's Books". To the outsider, it looked like a typical new age-bookstore, filled with books about feng-shui and astrology, decks of tarot cards, incense and dream catchers. But all of that was just for show - the real store was in a back room, for customers who wanted things like silver bullets, antique spellbooks, unusual custom-made weapons... and information. The Tenumago were old custumers of the store, which had been owned by the Lawrence family for ages. Ben Lawrence looked up as Ean entered, and grinned. Ben was

HUMAN MATE OF THE ALPHA KING

HUMAN MATE OF THE ALPHA KING

When they were out of the main drinking area, where the nightclubs and bars were located, Lucas allowed himself a small, satisfied smile. Ema would be pleased. After weeks of failure, they were positive that they would receive exactly what they had been looking for. Astor followed the smell to a little, independent bookshop nestled in between a thrift store and a vegan café. Over the door was a sign that proclaimed ‘Bookmark Haven’ in finely chipped gold paint. Indeed, the bookstore was closed, and all the windows in it were blind, but Lucas was convinced the individuals were still alive in the building.

The Slave Queen

The Slave Queen

She stuffed a few items in her purse, threw on her jean jacket, and left the room. When Linda entered the Library twenty minutes later, she easily found Elsa pouring over several medical textbooks. All she had to do was look for the tallest pile of textbooks and the bent head loaded with ebony curls. She plopped down opposite of her almost startling her. „Linda?” Elsa raised her brow in surprise. Linda looked around the large hall, “Wow, I keep forgetting how big this place is.” Elsa grinned, “Maybe if you visited more often…” She kept her voice low for the sake of the other students near her. Linda waved a dismissive hand, “What for?” She did not attempt to quiet her voice. “Besides, won't
