Just the quiet, steady certainty that he meant every single thing he said. I hesitated before asking, “What does it even mean to be an omega?” Nolan was quiet for a moment, then leaned back, considering his words carefully. “Omegas are rare,” he started. “They have… a different energy than others. It’s not about strength or dominance—it’s about balance. Omegas connect to alphas in ways that no one else can. It’s instinctual.”

About 2 weeks ago I had gotten an email saying I was invited to an omegas birthday party. Maya asked, her tone cautious. Elias nodded slowly. "Yes, the orb you discovered is a fragment of that ancient artifact," he explained. "It holds the essence of elemental energies—earth, fire, water, and air—that have been harnessed by generations before you." Anne frowned thoughtfully. "But why would Victor and the Order be so intent on capturing it?" she wondered aloud, her mind racing with the implications of Elias's revelation. "Power," Elias replied simply, his gaze turning grave. "The orb possesses the ability to amplify and channel these elemental energies. In the wrong hands, it could be used to reshape reality itself."

He seems to be surprised, but nonetheless nods his head in understanding. The truth is, I can't because I'm an Omega. “And your family?” he insists. “As far as I can remember, my mom was a blue and my dad was a green. But still, the magic genes in our family weren't strong--” I'm cut off when a kid comes in crying her head out. A boy about four years my junior is carrying her and he sets her down on the bed. Ben quickly attends to her and hushes her tears and the boy eyes me for a while but shortly leave.

His eyes wide with terror. “No!” My younger voice cracks as I trash against the restraints. “Don't touch him!” My uncle doesn't even look at me “An alpha cannot have a heart, it is a weakness.” He says calmly. Elias adjusts the controls on the machine. “Male Omegas bonds are genetic anomalies.” Auriel’s voice booms. “They destabilize Alpha blooodlines.” My heart slams violently against my ribs. “You can't do this!” I roar, Fenir’s anger coming out of me.

When the strike came, she dodged it, and cornered him. Then, suddenly, her claws flared. It wasn't the usual claw, not the type to be hidden. It came out blazing molten silver, big enough for the smallest pup to see from the upper level. The warrior staggered back, shock evident on his face. Then, the little Omega rose, her shoulders rising with her, eyes glowing violet. The crowd erupted in shock. Some were amazed, while others wallowed in unbelief. “Impossible! That's not happening!” Cael hissed in shock also.

All because of this damned omega. I hated her. I hated the cloying, sweet scent of clover and vanilla that now clung to the castle halls. Most of all, I hated the way my beast—the feral, violent core of my being—quieted whenever she was near. The way it watched, attentive and still, as if recognizing something I couldn't, constantly kept me on edge. “Dakor, the council elders are gathered in the War room. It’s time for our meeting.” Elliot called from the door, breaking me out of my thoughts.

My soul was definitely acquainted with her because even though I couldn’t really tell who she was, something in me told me to listen carefully and accept whatever she had in store for me. “ What…What reward? ” I whispered. “ Earth, Water, Fire, Night, and Light. They all will be free. They are already free. But, you will give this world the Earth and Fire element. That’s your reward. When he comes into this world, the Lycans will retain their true power. When that time comes, you have to protect him from the Light. The Light must not get Earth and Fire, child. ” The voice started to sound distant.

Disgusting. I head up to my office. It's the only place no one bugs me. They know they'll get beat if they do. The only one allowed in here is my Beta. Speaking of James, I haven't seen him yet. I open the door and find my Beta butt naked with some omega under him. She jumps up grabbing her clothes trying to cover herself. James just leans back on the couch with a big smile on his face. "Good timing boss. I had just finished."

I try to pull on his sleeve again to get his attention but he's not looking at me anymore. That's when I had to do my plan B, I don't want to be in class, this is boring I want to play, I begin to cry, my face was buried in Tristan's chest while I cried. "Beta is there a problem with your Omega?" I heard the teacher asks. "No, I'm sorry sir" Tristan answers before turning to me in a whisper. "Eden, keep it down baby, no crying.
