I wondered if he knew what type of witch I was. All witches could do spells and various divination techniques. We also all had varying psychic abilities, ‘witch senses’ I called them. Beyond that each witch could perform a type of elemental magic: earth, fire, water, air, and shadows. The elemental power wasn’t inherited, it was the stars and the moon that determined what type of elemental magic a witch would have. How powerful a witch was depended entirely on their strength of will.

Maddox’s POV: Caleb and I swung our heads toward Eldric while screeching in unison, “What? How?” Staring into the distance, he nodded very slowly, lost in thought, “A witch.” Caleb frowned in confusion, “I thought you said we burned all the witches loyal to Derek’s regime.” Glancing at him, Eldric answered, “Not them. She’s someone else. Old, powerful, cunning. Air is her element, and her expertise is to track scents…even if they’re decades old.”

I looked up and saw a soft smile on Natasha's face. ”The elements are our friends, earth, fire, wind, and water. It is from them that we draw our power and it is them that we respect while wielding our magic. For you, this will be more difficult because, in order to use the elements, they must feel as though they can trust you and only those who practice light witchcraft are to be trusted. The lightning sent her straight into the ground and she found herself unable to get up as she was severely hit. Cara lowered herself to the ground and approached Leticia slowly. “Surprised that I learnt to control your element?” she asked. Every witch and protector had an element that they were able to control and it was impossible for that person to control an element that wasn’t theirs. For Cara, her element was fire and so she could produce and control fire, for Alphaeus his element was air and so he could control the air around him and for Leticia, her element was lightning and so she could produce and control lightning.

She is living in Rina city, capital of the Mocha Empire. The three group of people who existed in this world; Elementals, Witches and Healers. The elementals could be further divided into four which are; air, water, fire and earth. Two out of four could be further divided which were water and earth. The water elementals had those who could control water or ice while earth had those who could make boulders appear from the ground or could control plants.

Werewolves are not allowed to interact directly with the higher witches and wizards, such as the Venusian Witches. "My name is Elara. I am a witch, like you. The shadow warriors brought you to this sanctuary deep in the mountains. It is protected. No one from the werewolf kingdom can find it easily." I took a small sip of the drink. It tasted better than it smelled and the pain in my back eased a little. "The execution. The fire. I had wings. Big ones. Did that really happen? Or am I losing my mind?"
