“Mr. Pierce, good to see you.”
“Good to see you too. Just in case, hold all calls and I don’t want anyone disturbing me for the rest of tonight and tomorrow.”
“Very good sir.”
Charles walked past him to the elevators and once the doors opened, he got in. I quickly followed, turning around, my back against the wall. He pulled out a card and scanned it on the keycard reader. The elevator started to rise and when it hit fourteen, I furrowed my brow. The buttons only went to thirteen. At floor fifteen, the elevator doors dinged and opened up to an entrance. Charles walked out, striding to the right. Slowly, I walked out, taking in my surroundings.
