She held her hand and Eli smiled softly. “You know I made a new friend…” Eli spoke up all of a sudden and Luan flinched on hearing that. “He says he’s a ghost, my own family never cared about me but he cries seeing me in pain. He’s the one who convinced me to come here today. I can’t help trusting him, he seems to be so familiar…” The therapist smiled as she realized that Eli was happy to have that person in her life, it didn’t matter who he was as long as he helped her go in the right direction.

POV: Eli Eli took out his cellphone and dialed a number. After two rings, the other line picked up. "Boss?" Jimmy spoke through the other line. He was working tonight at the Obsidian Ace. "Jimmy, how's our little spy?" Eli asked, referring to the frail-looking guy who'd been following him and Brigail earlier that his security detail picked up. Spies were old news to Eli. The Ghost had so many enemies that it didn't surprise him to have men snooping around his personal life. Most of the time, he just let them go with only a warning.

She reached forward, fingers trembling, and brushed his cold hand. “Papa…” The whisper broke her. Tears burned her cheeks. The chanting blurred. The world tilted for a brief moment. Then— “Elara.” Her name echoed through the air, faint as a breath. Her eyes widened. She looked down. Robin’s lips had not moved. His outline was woven with translucent golden light, and his spirit glistened. His once-charming eyes had turned urgent. The ghost whispering to her was audible to her alone. "Listen." “My death was no accident. Ariana…”

“Where is he?” “In my bedroom. Asleep.” I put out a hand before she could rise to her feet. “No. He is exhausted. You will not disturb him. Whatever you want him for can wait.” “Can it?” Her eyes flickered over me with an odd light, like she knew something I didn’t. “How are your powers?” “Fine.” I bit off, mildly irritated. “Since you’re here, answer this for me. Elian bit me, and drank my blood. Yet he’s still alive. How is that possible?”

It made me feel better to know she was keeping an eye on stuff to ensure Ellie’s shift went smoothly. “You’re strong, baby girl…don’t fight it…it will only make it worse,” I whispered to Ellie, the pain I felt through the bond was like a knife twisting in my gut. Our hands roamed over her body, trying to soothe her jerky movements. I watched my brother do the same and knew they were in turmoil like I was seeing her in this state. Her body arched as screams left her lips, almost breaking my ear drum. Energy and light rolled off of her in waves, expanding through us to the other Guardians and in a one directional line outside of us to an unknown destination. “Pearl, where is that light going?”

This elf is not just a weirdo that happened to be close by. Now that I think about it, she teleported the massive kingor, appeared behind me hiding her presence until she spoke and used a healing spell, all within a few seconds. Only a high-class Mage like Lelyah should be able to do that without breaking a sweat. More worrying is the way she is speaking, as if she knows there is world apart from this one. “Are you there?” It seems I have been standing here with my mouth open for far too long.

A few minutes later, Melinda came in, smiling. *** "Your mission is still yet to be accomplished, Cilia." A voice spoke from behind me, and I flinched in surprise. I turned, and my heart raced as I saw a hooded urchin standing in the doorway. "Do you think I'd like you to carry out your mission so smoothly?" He chuckled and stepped closer to me. I glanced around, making sure Sofia and Melinda didn't see it. My senses took a few moments to convince me that the pair were totally unaware of what was happening, and once they'd set the table for dinner, they calmly proceeded to the kitchen and continued the main course without acknowledging us.

Ellaine pulled at his sleeves, successfully getting his attention and unintentionally helping Margarette win the mental brawl. “Yes!” Margarette gasped. She read a very important secret from Finrod’s mind. “Margarette, I’ll kill you for this!” But Ellaine was unmindful about the other two. She was too busy being stiff. The ghost was just in front of her. His cold hand held her face, going down her chin. His other hand reached for hers. “Fin..rod..” She said, breathless. “What is it?” Irritatingly, Finrod turned around and saw Ellaine being embraced by an old ghost man.

You are a fire spirit possessor and water will tire you,” a manly voice said from behind. Elin, who was Lia in this world turned back to look at him, “Captain?” her voice sounded dull and so were her eyes which seemed to be shutting down slowly. I.. I feel tired! Everything turned dark once again which scared Elin more then anything yet it was peaceful. She could hear some worried noises disappearing slowly and slowly.

he said in realization. Eli narrowed his eyes at the demon and with that gesture, the demon realized who he was. "You're Eris," he said in shock, seeing Eris in an old man's body. The demon was about to turn around and immediately go inform the rest of the demon clan, but dark telepathic waves came out of Eli's hands and threw him off to the other side of the library and he fell hard against the wall. Eli was surprised that he still had the powers he possessed in his past life. He walked over to the demon who was groaning in pain, and without hesitation, he used his powers to strangle him to death without touching him.
