My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit.

A vampire leapt toward her from behind — she spun, ducked under his swipe, drove a dagger into his abdomen, twisted, then shot an arrow through his skull at point-blank range. She didn’t even breathe hard. She hadn’t shifted. She didn’t need to. Her combat as a human was art. To my left, a surge of dark energy rippled through the field. Elowen. The air around her shimmered unnaturally, her hands glowing faintly as she murmured words too ancient for most to understand. The ground beneath a cluster of advancing enemies cracked open — dark tendrils of magic snaking upward, wrapping around legs, dragging them down. A vampire tried to break free.

The man who had given me a reason to live was going to be the one to end it. "Zade, please," I whispered, tears blurring my vision. "I know you're in there. Don't let him do this to us." His claw touched my skin. A thin line of blood trickled down my neck. But then, something happened. The moment my royal blood touched his claw, the stone archway began to glow. "The price is paid," the ancient voice boomed. The archway didn't open. It began to suck the light out of the forest. A vortex of blue energy swirled in the center of the stone, pulling everything toward it. Marcus stopped playing the flute, his eyes widening in shock.

“They’re trying to claim the sword.” The lead figure stood, turning to face them. Their hood fell back, revealing a face Elara recognized—the hunter leader from the Northern Wastes, his eyes now solid black, his skin marked with void runes. “Voss,” he said, his voice distorted by magic. “We meet again. Though this time, you won’t stop us. The void will have its revenge.” He lunged, his shadow magic tearing through two worshippers, but they kept chanting, and the sword’s glow dimmed, as if being drained. Ellie’s silver fire flared, purging the void magic from a nearby worshipper, but more stepped forward, their hands raised.

Meanwhile, in a black forest, five black-armored elven men were being bombarded with magic spells and arrows by eight orange color-armored elven men. The five black-armored elven men’s skin was a bit darker than normal elves, their ears were a bit longer and wider, two of them had fangs out from the corner of their mouth. And the orange color-armored elven men, they had an insignia on the chest of the armor, which was designed as a star, a sun and a moon were inside of a circle and the circle was inscribed on a watchtower symbol, it was the insignia of the Eldarin Court Watchers.

I ask Jason, my voice barely above a whisper but he doesn't answer me, his focus entirely on whatever spell Elowen is weaving. Suddenly, cries from a strange creature grow louder and closer. I then hear the snapping of branches and the thunderous impact of its footfalls. Just as the eerie beast bursts into view, a mass of writhing shadows and gleaming teeth, Elowen's chant reaches a crescendo. The air in front of us ripples like water, and suddenly, a bridge of swirling light spans the ravine. "Go!" Elowen commands. "Here ends my mission. "They are coming." A tense, breathless minute passed. Then, the heavy, rhythmic clinking of enchanted glass armor echoed into the stone throat. The Forest Elven vanguard marched into view, their shields shimmering with refracted light, their banners flying high as they charged headfirst into the center of the trap, entirely blind to the teeth waiting to snap shut above them.

That was King Ruven Omanelis shouted at the soldiers wearing the same hooded robes. The soldiers took off their hoods, raised their bows, then fired shots into the air. When the arrow stabbed into the winged demon beast's body. From within the wounds inflicted by the arrows appeared thorny vines that tore the winged demon beast's body from the inside of body until it shattered and fell to the ground with a strong stench. The arrow belonging to the elves specifically inserted the seeds of thorny vines into the enemy's body and tore the enemy's body to shreds from the inside.

Everyone held their shields up in random directions unsure of what else to do. "HAHA." Havoc began laughing as they arrows rained down from above them. They were coming from the treetops. 'Most elves are so good with their bows they can hit a moving target just by using sound alone. But it also doesn't hurt their eye sight is better than a humans, and no harm in the fact they have magic cast on them so they can see through the mist. Humans should have never disregarded the knowledge of the beings they almost drove to extinction.' "HAAA!" Yelled a familiar voice. Havoc looked over just in time to see Thomas cleave a soldier in two with his battle axe.
