Even when she was not present, he would be accompanied by a different lady every day. Ember was slightly offended by Penelope’s statements. She had no idea when she started to be very concerned about Caleb's actions, and she would be upset because of some small things. She forced herself not to think about those things. It was now time to focus on her work. Ember returned to the room, reminding the patients to remember the things to be done without realizing it had already reached the end of the work hour. Today was the last day of her weekend shift, so she could take Avery home for the remainder of the day rather than staying in the small hospital dormitory.

Elma's POV It was 10:00am, Sunday morning. I didn't go to work today cause Mr Benson kept the day sacred. He said he spends the day cleaning up his house, resting and visit his wife in the cemetery. I offered to help out in the cleaning but he insisted I stay at home and rest. I have been working there for three days now and it has been nothing but fun. Mr Benson was very happy since the passed three days. He still calls me his lucky charm. According to him, he hasn't made so much like he did since I started working for him. I was very glad that I brought happiness to his heart, he is such a kind man.

She needed to touch up her makeup! “You mailed them now? I think I instructed you to do it an hour ago. All of them should have been here by now. The office starts at 9 o’clock and it is 10 o’clock already. Why aren’t the employees here yet?” she growled angrily. “Mr. Drexler was flexible with us, Ms. Hensley. He allowed us to work from home if we couldn’t come over to work for the day,” said Bettie with her eyes lighting up at the memory of Roman Drexler. Sienna was furious hearing her words.

My heart rammed against my chest. What was that Emberlyn? What did you do? I checked the time on my phone and it was 4:30. I had to get to work before I was late. Even if my life was a mess right now, I still needed to work. I was working evenings at Dine Hart, one of my many part-time jobs. Lizzy’s POV After the beach trip, I never saw Steven again. The working hours where I worked were divided into two. We used to call them the morning shift and the night shift. The morning shift works from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon, and the night shift works from three in the afternoon until nine at night. Each employee gets a week to work the morning shift, and a week to work the night shift.

She took out a book and pen from the drawer and wrote down the company's address, as she didn't know where it was located, even though her father worked there. Temisa wrote down the address; the company had emailed her to resume on Monday the following week between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. sharp. A late arrival after 8 a.m. would result in a deduction from her monthly income, which, as her brother had stated, was ₦200,000 for a starter.

"Great, so now to establish your payment and working hours. You work from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm. There might be days when I get home early and you will be relieved of your duties however that will not affect your wages." "Though on days where I get home late, you will get paid for the extra hours. If you are needed on a Saturday or Sunday, your wage will increase by 25% for that day. Your wages are 60 Erasis' per hour which equates to 540 Erasis' per day. Is that okay with you?" I asked her. "Oh and before you answer, may I ask how old you are?" I asked. She can't be that young, probably 16,17,18, or 19 years at most.

"I'll watch for his return. I have the entire day.” Remi arched an eyebrow. "He has a really erratic work schedule. He occasionally works late shifts, returning to work at two or three in the morning. Mrs. Web, are you certain you can wait that long?” Vivian narrowed her gaze even more disdainfully. "What kind of man puts in those many hours? Is this a real job at all?” Inside, Remi was dying. This was truly invaluable. Barely controlled emotion clenched Bernice’s face. She appeared to be about to blow up.

Emily responded thoughtfully. “Hmm, I hope with this new job I don’t get hit with overtime before then, I am sure it happens. I will put in the request to take half a day tomorrow when I meet with HR, just in case.” Josey didn’t think overtime could happen so soon and when she was still kind of new. “Geesh, I hope not either!” Emily said worriedly turning on her side to face Josey from her bed. “I haven’t missed one yet so I will make sure I make it to this one also. Now, time to sleep. I will make breakfast in the morning because I have to get up so early.” Josey turned her face to her sister and smiled.

Ember asked. "Sorry babe, I have a meeting at 1:30pm and it's a really important one so I can't miss it. If it was not important then I would stay."He said and Ember nodded her head in response. Even though she was a little disappointed because she wanted him to stay with her a a little while longer but she knew that she couldn't keep him away from his work. She watched him as he made his way out of her bedroom. She sighed laying her head on the pillow.
