Her tears fluttered and fell, one by one crystallized on the carpet. Friedel, whose face was originally cold and thorough, suddenly panicked. "Why are you crying?" Friedel asked, somewhat wringing his hands. "Don't you know who I am?" Emily asked, choking back a sob, her voice quivering with a hint of hope. Friedel's jaw tensed as he pursed his lips and said, "Don't cry." Emily's eyes blurred with tears as she looked at the familiar face in front of her. The scar across half of his face should have been left a month ago and was still healing.

Emily's POV What in the moon’s name…was that? There were reddish veins bulging around her eyes, like lightning streaking across her skin. Her eyes… the pupils had vanished, leaving only white. My stomach dropped. Almost immediately, her face returned to normal, as if nothing had happened. “Emily.” She smiled, her expression innocent, as though I hadn’t just seen what I had seconds ago. I stood frozen, my mind still trying to process what I’d witnessed.

Emily's face flushed with embarrassment as she bent down to pick up her belongings. Just as she was starting to gather her things, a gentle voice spoke up behind her. "Hey, are you okay? Do you need some help?" Emily turned to see a girl with a kind face and big brown eyes smiling at her. She looked innocent and naive, with a sprinkle of freckles across her nose and a messy bob of curly brown hair. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks," Emily replied, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I'm just a little clumsy, I guess."

She interrupted. "What? I was only trying to explain things you don't know to you, and you are… c'mon Emily, I was been nice.." I chuckled as I watched her amused facial expression. "Nice? No Ademaro, I have known you for a while now, and that face is not your nice face. You had that bad boy smirk on your face, trust me, that isn't the nice face I know." "And what does Ademaro's nice face look like," I asked with a grin.

His deep-set eyes, high nose bridge, full and broad forehead, and sharp yet steady jawline— Without the mask, he must be very handsome. Emily’s hand gradually moved upward, touching the skin on his left cheek where there was a coin-sized scar, starkly different from the smooth skin elsewhere. “Is it here?” Her fingertips brushed gently, like a feather. She pressed a little harder, carefully tracing the scar. “The scar is big, isn’t it?” Emily shook her head. “Emily, are you afraid of me?” Emily spoke softly, “What I fear isn’t the scar on your face but the past of yours that I don’t understand.”

What didn’t she understand? “A married woman like you wouldn’t understand.” Emily looked at Stella with a serious expression. Hearing Emily’s words, Stella could only grin and raised her hand to pinch Emily’s face. “Don’t you know how to talk? You are so mean.” Stella was not polite at all. She pinched Emily’s face hard. “Be gentle, be gentle. It hurts so much.” Emily saved her face from Stella’s hands and rubbed her face and looked at Stella. “You deserve it.” Stella glared at Emily and twisted too much.

One of them had scars on his face and the other one didn't. I gulped and looked at them in confusion. "We'll kill you. Murderer." One of them said and my eyes slightly widened. Murderer? Did he call me a murderer? "Yeah, boys, get aside. Don't scare our guests." Liam came out of nowhere and pushed them away as he bent down and looked at me. All of a sudden he took off his mask and my eyes widened. Is there something special today? I expected him to be ugly but to my surprise, he was handsome despite the scar on his cheek.

Her long blonde hairs were covering up her face. Who was she? As if to answer my question, the mysterious woman dropped her magazine and looked up. "Someone is surprised to see me," She said, smiling broadly. I stared at her as I stood behind Liam. Why does she look familiar? And God! She was so beautiful. Just like a Goddess. Who is she? Why does she look so strangely familiar? "Emily!" Liam exclaimed, answering my question. I blinked at her. Wait! What? Of course! The woman sitting in front of me was none other than Emily Blunt! Liam's ex... sorry Liam's girlfriend.

It hurts. "It's done now. You can open your eyes, ma'am." She announced and I fluttered my eyes opened immediately. I couldn't see clearly as tears had already clouded my vision. I wiped it away with my other palm. Removing the tissue in my mouth, I sighed in relief. It doesn't hurt that bad anymore. Christabel took care of it and she plastered it.

Checking the expiration date. Emily reached for it, a smile spreading across her face. "Put it back now!" The voice came from behind her. It was cold and too familiar. Dripping with contempt. Emily's brows furrowed as she turned. Emilia stood there, her arms crossed, her eyes blazing with barely contained fury. She was dressed in designer clothes, her hair perfectly styled, her face a mask of arrogant superiority. "Excuse me?" Emily said raising an eyebrow of ridicule. "I said put it back." Emilia stepped closer. "That cereal can never be for you."
