POWERS OF THE MOON BEARER

POWERS OF THE MOON BEARER

"No more games. What are those things?" Corvin smiled, unaffected by the ruckus around them. "The Shadows of the Depths. They are attracted to hesitation. You give them your doubt, and they will eat you up alive." “Great,” Jax mumbled, sounding pretty bitter. “You couldn’t have said that before?” “I thought it was obvious,” Corvin said with a shrug. One of the shadowy forms lunged forward. Kade rounded on it, his weapon sweeping high and hard through the dark. The creature died, but another stepped in behind almost instantly.

The Lycan Commander’s Lethal Shadow

The Lycan Commander’s Lethal Shadow

"The High Council is paralyzed. Saed is a ghost in his own empty halls, stripped of his titles and his dignity. But we both know the real war didn't end in that amphitheater." Anna didn't look up immediately. Her fingers, steady and deliberate, traced the sleek edge of her modified sync-pad. "Saed was just a variable to be cleared from the board," she replied softly. Her voice was remarkably calm, contrasting with the crackle of the hearth behind her. "He was a predictable, short-sighted obstacle driven by vanity and fear. You can bargain with fear, Liam. You can manipulate vanity. The Shadow is different. It doesn't operate on political logic, territorial ambition or economic leverage. It i

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

The Mother who Fed the Dark

The Mother who Fed the Dark

The air was thick with tension, charged with whispers and a latent power he had only glimpsed in fragments during his previous trials. Mafungashe appeared beside him without a sound, eyes narrowed, voice low. “The shadow has risen,” he said quietly. “It is a manifestation of Sipho’s legacy — unchecked, chaotic, and drawn to the weaknesses of the empire. You must confront it directly. Influence alone may not be enough. You will need clarity, moral judgment, and mastery over the shadows themselves.”

The Shadows of Haverstone Manor

The Shadows of Haverstone Manor

“We can’t do anything without these things showing up.” Jamie swung his skateboard into his hands, his movements tense. “How many times do we have to teach this lesson?” “These aren’t the same as before,” Callan said, their glowing presence intensifying. “They’re stronger—manifestations tied directly to the spire’s corruption. Be careful.” The first shadow lunged toward Emma, its clawed hand reaching for the relic. Callan intercepted it with a burst of light, scattering the dark form into wisps of smoke. But the other shadows advanced quickly, their movements unnaturally fast and precise.

The Blood Bound Legacy

The Blood Bound Legacy

“So, Jameson. Feel like telling us just what makes this place so terrible?” Jameson didn’t lift the pen from the journal. “It’s cursed.” Maxwell scoffed. “Oh, great. More details, please.” Jameson let out an exasperated sigh and closed the journal. “Shadow’s End isn’t simply tucked away. It’s protected. It doesn’t let people in unless it wants them to be there. And if it doesn’t? You don’t just get lost.” Maxwell arched a brow. “You die?”

Shadowed Crown

Shadowed Crown

The freaky end of days was coming. I faced the camera, my voice steady for all the people in the city to hear. "The freaky apocalypse is here, folks. I'm going to help you out as best I can. First up, find cover where the wind can't get you, subways, basements, factories, banks, any safe spot." Lights flickered on in every underground parking lot. The ground rumbled with a deep roar, setting the stage for Jim as he led his crew of infant spirits into a clash with the Haunts that sliced through the wind.

Beast Billionaire Claim

Beast Billionaire Claim

Zara’s magic shivered in recognition, echoing the prophecy etched in ancient runes. The emissary’s masked gaze fixed on Maxim. “Your blood oath tied you to this land. When the final shadow falls, your life will anchor or unmake it.” Maxim stiffened, but his eyes never left the emissary. “Then I’ll anchor it,” he said. “Even if it kills me.” Zara grabbed his arm. “Don’t you dare—” But before she could finish, the moon above them darkened further. The first perfect curve of shadow slid across its face, a black kiss swallowing silver.

IN THE SHADOW OF DESIRE

IN THE SHADOW OF DESIRE

“So I’m your shadow now?” Damian stepped closer, eyes sharp. “You’re under my protection. There’s a difference.” The room seemed to shrink, his presence pressing in, heavy and undeniable. For one terrifying, intoxicating moment, Amara wondered if the danger wasn’t outside at all - but standing right in front of her. The man cleared his throat. “There’s more.” He tapped the folder again and slid another photograph across the table. Amara’s blood ran cold. It wasn’t her. It wasn’t Damian.
