LOVE ME, KILL ME BABY

LOVE ME, KILL ME BABY

"No, it's not. This memory also keeps coming back about a big house." Dan's face changes. I never see his facial expression this scary before. He put back his tea to the table. "So meeting the woman finally makes you remember about the Duncan family, huh?" I gulp. Hard. It's the family in that woman's case, Emma Carlson. What is it to do with all of this? "Before you talk, let me ask you. Do feel any joy when you dream about killing the prostitute?" "No! Dad! Are you crazy?! Of course not."

Deadly Game

Deadly Game

Perimeter Lockdown Confirmed. The mechanical voice of the security system mocked me every time I came home. She had bypassed it. A Level 5 security network engineered by the top defense contractors in the world, and my sweet, delicate Aria had shattered it in ninety seconds, leaving nothing behind but a burnt-out circuit panel and a ruined emerald dress on the floor.

The Reborn Luna

The Reborn Luna

Damian took it and looked at me. “This was in Elias’s belongings before he disappeared.” My heart began to race. “He left it?” Damian nodded. “But he didn’t get to send it.” My hands trembled slightly. “What’s on it?” No one answered immediately. Then Damian pressed play. Static filled the room. Then Elias’s voice. It was low but rushed. “If you’re hearing this…” My breath caught. “…then I didn’t make it out.” My stomach twisted. Elias continued. “Emma is not acting alone. Fernando knows… but he’s not fully in control anymore.”

Baited By My Cruel Stepbrother

Baited By My Cruel Stepbrother

Vee Hale waited in the shadows of the abandoned warehouse like a ghost from their darkest nightmares, her once-perfect appearance now shattered by bruises and fear. Elara’s heart pounded as they approached her, the air thick with the smell of rust and betrayal. Vee held up a flash drive with trembling fingers, her voice barely above a whisper. “This proves everything. The real killer. The one pulling all the strings.” The promise in her words felt like a lifeline and a trap at the same time, making Elara’s stomach twist violently.

Twenty-Eight Days Too Late

But now, reading them again, his heart pounded faster and faster. The hollow panic in his chest was growing, and he couldn't ignore it anymore. "Papa Dan, why aren't you eating?" Theo tilted his head, confused. Dan forced a smile. "Papa's not hungry, buddy." Valerie noticed his distraction and reached across to take his hand. "Are you still upset with Lynn? Honestly, she went too far this time—having her own daughter play dead just to guilt you. It's so cruel." The more she spoke, the more unsettled Dan felt. He stood abruptly.

SECRETS OF THE PAST

SECRETS OF THE PAST

Emma hesitated, hands shaking. “Daniel…” she whispered. He turned toward her, concern etched across his face. “What is it?” She showed him the screen. Marcus leaned closer. “Play it,” he said, though even his voice trembled. Emma tapped the screen, and the video began. At first, it was darkness, then a beam of light cut through the frame, uneven and shaking as if the person holding the camera was walking carefully, nervously. Emma’s breath hitched as the familiar outlines of the forest appeared.

Emma said, meeting his gaze, “but you’ve also been determined, courageous, and selfless. That’s what matters.” For a moment, Ethan said nothing, his blue eyes searching hers. “You have a way of seeing the best in people, Emma. Even when they don’t deserve it.” Emma smiled. “Everyone deserves a chance to be seen for who they really are, Ethan. Even you.” --- As the day progressed, Ethan received a call from his legal team. Dr. Morris raised his eyebrow and cocked the gun. “Stop messing with me! Emily is here, I know that.” He stepped closer. “Emily, sweety! Daddy is here. Come out now, we are going home,” he shouted. Not like the other book I read. There are many life lessons and relationship advice here. This is like a real story for me. Kudos to the author. Like the doctor theme, it's unique, I didn't read much about the doctor story here.

The story is great so far! Your first few chapters really hooked me and it's very well-written. Just be mindful that you tend to shift from present tense to past tense a lot - just stick to one tense. Other than that it's an awesome book. Keep it up author :)
