Her curious blurry gaze followed it—and she saw a blade lifted up. And then, the slice through flesh was barely audible. Emma lost all her senses. Sight. Hearing. Her perception of pain. She wasn’t even sure if the blade she saw had struck her—but she probably wasn’t going to know. Her eyes fluttered. Her breath slowed. Then darkness swallowed her.

Who all greeted me with so much excitement and others kept seeing me as Landon’s girlfriend, which I had to deny so many times that I’m just a friend. “You look really cute.” One of them, Blake commented. He had red hair, a few piercings on his ears and nose, and he was quite tall and muscular. Red beautiful eyes and if I didn’t know him, I would say he was quite a celebrity. Instead, she gazed steadily at the other person. "You claim you mean no harm?" The gray-robed figure's anger flared. "Step back!"

Emma knew that they needed a different approach to defeat it. With a quick glance at Lukas and Selene, Emma formulated a plan. She signaled to them, and they nodded in understanding. They backed off from the creature, drawing its attention towards them, while Emma circled around from behind, her eyes fixed on the creature's vulnerable spot. As the creature focused its attacks on Lukas and Selene, Emma used her speed and agility to slip past its defenses. She leapt onto its back, her claws sinking deep into its flesh as she aimed for the spot she had identified earlier. She channeled all her strength and power into one final strike, slashing through the creature's flesh with all her might.
