Yes Cami was still in school, she was still a grade away from graduating high school. “That is a great question. Empire was the name of my late Godmother; I owe her a lot so I named everything I own after her.” Chloe replied with a smile

said Yagni. Eloy saw his emperors waking over. Both their eyes narrowed at the way Prince Yagni was walking closer to Eloy much to the High King's exasperation and Prince Yagni's silent amusement. "This is Emperor Adharva Malvan," said Eloy nodding to Adharva letting Mithraos check his shoulder where there was a scratch. "And this is Emperor Mithraos Maharee," said Eloy with a small smile. Yagni gave a nod of greeting.

the emperor replied, masking his underlying unease with a composed demeanor. "And what about Lucas?" the emperor inquired, eager to hear about his son's progress. "Alfred praised him, Your Majesty," the aide reported with a hint of admiration in his voice. "Lucas has shown impressive strength, far surpassing Addison. It seems he has inherited the imperial prowess in swordsmanship. Additionally, Martha mentioned that he has taken a keen interest in the history of the imperial family."

Fragile, even. My chest contracts in a way that pisses me off. Her eyes lift and find mine. Blue meeting blue. The chapel disappears. For a second, it’s just us. She’s beautiful. The kind of beautiful that makes a man angry about it. My jaw ticks. My mouth goes dry. “I shouldn’t want her,” I mutter under my breath. Valerio hears. He always does. His lips twitch into a smirk. “Careful, amico,” he murmurs without turning his head. “Someone might think you’re human.”

Under his gaze, I felt the tips of my ears warm. No one had warned me that he was not only powerful, but also impossibly handsome. Vincent's expression darkened instantly. He wanted to question it, to stop it. However, the moment his eyes met Matteo's icy gaze, every word got stuck in his throat. He recognized this man. Matteo De Luca. The one who could decide the fate of entire families with a single sentence at council meetings. Not someone he could afford to offend. The spotlight landed perfectly on us, making us the center of attention.

He was wearing a red cloak, black silk tunic and trousers, with gold armour and red leather boots. He squinted his cataract eyes, trying to take a look at me. And then, I looked at Dante who was standing only ten feet away from the Emperor. He was wearing simple black clothes, brown leather boots, and a vibrant blue cloak with a golden eagle sigil. I wondered why his sigil was different from others and why nobody was questioning him. Honestly, he looked better as emperor than the emperor himself. Oh, I judge people on the basis of appearance. Why is it wrong? He is supposed to be the emperor. Isn't it normal that I would have some expectations from him?

I can't imagine any mortal with those all attributes. Heather nearly trips over her own feet as she springs up, eager as a puppy. "Your majesty, look at me." She scoots her chair back a little and then does this painfully slow, show-offy spin, making sure the Emperor sees every inch of her in that tight dress. "You can see the beauty right there."
