However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

Helm explains. Flash their eyes; what the hell is he talking about? Helm can see our confusion and tells Emerald to show us. We all watch as her eyes change to resemble what a cat would look like, and they flash a bright green, which makes sense with her extraordinary eye colour. All the boys are speechless. I see Tyler trying to make his eyes flash. I just roll my eyes at him, as does his father. We watch as Raven, Raidon, and Cal also flash their eyes. This surprises me because they are full wolves. Marcel explained that the three of them were granted this because they were Emerald’s guards. It is a way to be linked to her. “Guards my ass.” Emerald whispers.

I’m sorry I made you cry a few times while reading, but I made it up to you with a happy-ish ending. You may recognise Merlin from the legends about King Arthur, but this story is more closely related to the Merlin series with Colin Morgan and Bradley James. I’ve always loved the show and made this story with it in mind. I threw in a few Easter eggs from the show into it, so I wonder if you can spot them all. With your big brain, you probably can :) Hint: Eggs are mostly in dialogue, descriptions, and names ;)
