Visiblement pas pressé, il a même lâché, négligent : « Pourquoi si pressé ? Rébecca ne m'en voudra pas. Un peu de baratin, et elle oubliera sa crise. » Oui, la colère n'avait que d'effet sur ceux qui tenaient à nous... Si mon père, ma mère et mon frère s'en moquaient de moi, peu importe. Mais que Davy, lui aussi, m'ignorait à ce point… Alors, il était temps de quitter définitivement cet endroit qui ne m'apportait plus que chagrin...
