The End of Your Family

The End of Your Family

He grabbed Kelly and threw himself off the yacht, dragging her down into the ocean with him. They disappeared beneath the waves. … When the news reached me, I felt nothing. No anger, no sadness. Just an eerie sense of finality. It was, in the end, the perfect ending for Zarrick. I turned back to my assistant, unfazed. "Make sure everything is ready for our family vacation." My life was mine to live, and I intended to live it well. My parents—I would take care of them with everything I had. And my darling daughter, Alice—her future would be limitless. The End

Forced To Be The Billionaire’s Bride

Forced To Be The Billionaire’s Bride

But the real triumph is in the quiet. In the laughter after mourning. In the family built from ruin. In a woman who once lost everything, standing tall, holding the pen. And writing the last word herself. …The End

He Stands at the End of My Past

He Stands at the End of My Past

Willow stood frozen in place. Her eyes were shimmering with unshed tears, and her fists were clenched so tightly that her knuckles turned white. Yet, she stubbornly kept her chin up. "What did you just say, Willie?" Caspian stared at her in disbelief. Willow yanked her hand out of his and choked out, "Mr. Henderson, what will it take for you to leave me alone? Your wife wants to rip my clothes off in public. Are you satisfied now?"

My Endless Sorrow

My Endless Sorrow

he murmured, "wait for me. Once I’ve taken care of everything, I’ll come back and make it up to you." But I would not wait. ... By the time Lucas resolved the company’s affairs and came looking for me, I was already gone. I had quit my teaching job, left the city, and erased all traces of myself from his world. All I left behind was a single message: [The dead do not return.] Lucas understood. He sat before the abandoned house where we had once lived, crying in despair. Later, I learned he liquidated his empire, declared bankruptcy, and emptied his accounts into mine.

The End of Staying

The End of Staying

“This life or the next, no matter how much time passes, I will never forgive you. You think a few years of punishment can erase everything you did? You claimed you could not live without Eric. I hope the two of you stay bound together forever and never ruin anyone else’s life again. The only reason I never took revenge myself is because I have responsibilities. I refuse to become someone like you and disgrace this uniform. You still think you deserve forgiveness?” Suzanna’s face turned pale, and the light in her eyes faded like a candle in the wind. I rolled up the car window. “Drive.” The car pulled away. After finishing my official report in the capital, I applied to return to the border o

Even After Death

Even After Death

She stood under the palm tree as she gazed at the fireworks. "Do you like fireworks, Ms. Fordham?" Olivia replied calmly, "It's only natural to like things that are pretty. But as pretty as they are, fireworks burn out very quickly. "Soon, the night sky will return to being calm, like nothing ever happened." "Even so, at least the beauty is preserved in our memories, and we will remember it for a long time." Olivia shook her head in resignation. "That's true, but I don't think I would live long enough to see the day."

Congratulations author! Such a nice plot of a novel about a woman’s saga on the romantic- love-hate realm. I cried a bucket for Olivia at the beginning of the story, but I admire the true love of Ethan for her at the later part. In this time and age, would there be such kind of love?

Guardian of Ruin

Guardian of Ruin

Eden smiled—a small, fierce curve of lips, sharpened by trials and resolve. The fire inside her would never be extinguished. Because some battles last a lifetime. And some fires burn brightest after the storm. --- THE END

How We End

How We End

I heard Dean ask. I spat out the toothpaste into the sink and shot my head out of the bathroom door, "Almost." It was Sunday night and Dean and I were getting ready for bed. I had been working on this poem for my poetry class for days now and Dean had helped by taking me to inspiring places and filling me up with encouraging words. The poem was due tomorrow but I still wasn't done. I promised to leave my procrastinating ass aside and add a few extra touches before I go to bed.

At the End of the Tunnel

At the End of the Tunnel

As my consciousness began to fade, I forced myself to reach out and fumble for the burner phone hidden on me. [That favor you owe me—you can pay it back now.] The moment the message had been sent, both the display on my phone and my mind plunged into darkness. I had no idea how much time had passed before the pungent stench of disinfectant finally jarred me awake. My body felt as though it had been crushed into pieces and then forcefully patched back together. The hollow emptiness in my lower abdomen served as a constant, brutal reminder of everything that had just transpired.
