The creature started to fluctuate in shape, its mysterious core disappearing before the strength of the artifacts. "It's functioning!" Xander cried out, his voice brimming with optimism. Selene teamed up with Eva, infusing her magic into the stream of light. The creature's shape started to break down under the overwhelming force of their combined magic and relics. The creature disappeared with a final, pained cry, leaving only a lingering feeling of darkness. Exhausted, Eva fell to her knees. The room fell quiet as the heavy darkness disappeared. Glancing around, her heart was still pounding, but they remained safe for now.
