CHAPTER 2: The Meeting At the Werewolf Kingdom: Kenji is a playful werewolf and doesn’t like his life as a successor. He is the alpha of their kingdom. He is the most powerful and can do everything. But currently, his dad is the king alpha of their kingdom. These werewolves have two forms, their normal form which is very identical to a human form, and their werewolf/true form. Normally, they are in their normal form.

Yet, her love for Leori and her unyielding determination fueled her onward. As Erica found herself trapped on the unknown island, she desperately sought a way to find her path back to the kingdom. Fear gnawed at her heart as she navigated through dense vegetation, feeling the weight of isolation press upon her. Suddenly, a low growl resonated from the shadows, followed by the emergence of a pack of menacing werewolves. They encircled Erica, their eyes gleaming with curiosity and suspicion. One of them, a formidable figure with a scar across his snout, stepped forward and bared his fangs.

“It's OK, and I'm glad you both told me. It's a little weird, but I will get over it soon. But since we're being honest. I wanted you to know that I still have feelings for Cheryl.” Mitch's body froze as he clenched his fists. “OK, I'm glad you told me.” “So explain the thing about mates again. I wanna make sure I get everything right.” Cassie begged. Mitch told her about the Moon Goddess, mates, Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Cassie tried her best to understand everything. The part about the rogues scared her though. Werewolves who didn’t live by the rules made her skin crawl. They walked until they came upon some locals, playing the Congo drum.

Caroline put her foot ahead then her mind said, " Hey! What are you doing? How can you believe in a stranger and that also in a guy." She again put her leg back. "Why are you thinking so much? Just get inside before he changes his mind to give you lift and leave you here alone. You're already a werewolf, brave daughter of a strong alpha of a pack." Her heart persuaded her. "So what if you're a werewolf? Nowadays, humans are more monsters than werewolves. " her mind warned her. "Oie.. Caroline flustered and uttered, " both of you stop fighting." She said so loudly that he got confused too and muttered to himself, " Both? " and he looked around out of the car from the window, " who's the other

I told her. “That doesn’t make it right. Eric admitted to killing his own mother and something tells me that isn’t the most sinister thing happening around here.” She replied. “Agreed! Krissy’s special unicorn cocoa for one. I doubt that was just milk chocolate. Having black eyes is eerie enough but whatever was in there made her wolf recede.” Which brought me back to a question Eric had been avoiding answering. “Are there werewolves here?” I asked bluntly. Hoping that he couldn’t avoid a direct question.

He said in a commanding, sexy tone that made my body vibrate. “Okay, fine,” I said, chuckling in defeat. “Do you remember those legendary stories we normally read? Those about werewolves testing their partners or people they hoped to be with, with love tests and signs?” I asked him in excitement. "Yes, I do. What about it?” He asked.

He gave me so that I could feel this love for my second chance. "Did Eros recognize his second chance?" asked Luke suddenly. I looked at him knitting my brows. "Can a werewolf have a human mate too?" He looked at me shaking his head, "What do you mean?" I looked at the sand while hugging my knees. I used my finger as a pen and drew a random line in the sand. "You know us in the Dark moon. Our pack negotiates with humans. Eros Hildarttre is well-known and most human females like him."

His warm lips pressed against my neck as his hands wandered my body, making their way down. I was snapped out of my trance by someone clearing their throat. My eyes flew open, meeting alpha Erik's gaze, my face growing red. I gripped my thighs tighter as I tried to keep any scent of arousal from the air. Werewolves had a keen sense of smell, and a female's arousal drove all the unmated males crazy. "Alpha Erik, you finally made it." The words left my mouth before I could stop it. My eyes widened as I examined his expression. A small smirk spread across his face as he looked at me.

He kissed her. "Scare me?" She arched her brow. "I live with werewolves" "I was also scared because it's a painful process for humans. Marking you, having babies and everything. It's a scary process and I was scared to put you in that position" He replied. "Yet you want to marry me?" "I will tell you eventually," He smiled. "I can't believe you pushed me away for that!' Iris turned away from him. "I have to tell you something Japh" She hugged herself.

*makes sobbing noises* Thank you for your time and patience and for diving into the world of werewolf stories that I created, where sometimes it’s best to accept that not all love deserves a second chance (or a third).
