The simple walk, brimming with conversations and shared laughter, becomes a testament to the beauty of unscripted moments. The comfort of home awaits us, and as we approach our familiar doorstep, there’s a shared sense of contentment. Today’s adventure may not have involved grand plans, but in the ordinary, we’ve found extraordinary moments that only deepen the connection between us. The day may unfold without a set agenda, but with each step, each word exchanged, it becomes a day painted in the vibrant hues of our shared experiences.

Every ordinary morning in between. Because that was the deal. That was the whole deal. Show up. Pay attention. Love big. Love specific. Love out loud and in silence and in every language you can learn. I bit into my eggs. Too much cheese. Absolutely perfect.

The people hold one another. And all of it continues exactly the way it should. Not through grand gestures. Not through extraordinary moments. But through ordinary ones. The kind that matter most. Day after day. The right amount. All of it.

We stepped out of the burger joint, and the evening breeze brushed my face with a cool touch. I walked beside him. "You see it now, don't you? Someone like you wouldn't survive a single day in the real world without an assistant and a wallet." He didn't protest, only murmured a quiet "yeah". We walked on in silence. The streetlights stretched our shadows across the pavement, where they met briefly before parting. As we approached the entrance to my apartment complex, he suddenly stopped. "Nova." "Yeah?" "How did I do today?" he asked softly. "Did I pass?"

-End of Flashback- It's a beautiful New York day. The sun rises so high in the sky, but the weather is cool and calm. People in the streets are busy going to and from, going on with their daily lives. Some are just walking around with friends or love ones. Cars are busy driving through the streets of New York.

You know how you sometimes felt like things were about to go wrong? That's how I felt when my parents called me and asked me to come to the Lin mansion for lunch. The day started badly. I kept making mistakes and tripping. Was calling my name? And the person must be angry. The day just didn't seem to be on my side and I just wanted to it end quickly. I wanted to start another day and have a more peaceful day. I loved starting my mornings on a positive note because I believed they affected my day and I just knew was going to be a bad day but not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

KIAN'S POV Another week passes but not in a flash like most people would say. I have never liked the saying anyway because no, weeks and days don’t just flash by. For a business man like me, every single day is significant and meaningful. My days are characterized by meetings, strenuous office work, travels and too many important events that I get invited to so it feels offensive to have them tagged as a week that went by with barely any memories.
