"We heard there was a Mad Alpha running around these parts, and I don't think we want to run into him." The old man suddenly burst into laughter, a deep, rumbling cackle that bounced off the walls like thunder. "What's so funny?" DJ asked, narrowing his eyes. "He won't harm you, unless you mess with something or someone he loves," the old man replied, stepping closer. There was a wild glint in his eye now, a barely restrained intensity beneath his smile. "And you are?" Cameron asked warily. "Nigel Senior," the man said proudly. "I'm the previous Alpha of the Howling Cliffs pack."

The old man was scrawny and short. He had deep wrinkles on his face and caved-in eyebags that somehow flashed wickedly from time to time. His stare was similar to that of a viper. More importantly, his fingernails were maroon in color, extending long and sharp. It resembled the claws of a hawk who had just crushed its prey. It was frightening to look at. “Elder Nevermore, you’re here just in time! Kill this man for me!”

The old man glanced at Samuel and said, "You're a good-for-nothing. You don't deserve to know who I am." Samuel was furious. This rotten old man actually dared to speak to him with this type of tone. He was a Divine Realm master! "Old fool, you sure are boasting shamelessly," Samuel coldly. The old man smiled faintly and said, "You're the first man who dares to call me old man. It's as easy as pinching an ant to death if I want to kill you. If it weren't for the sake of Miss, you would have been a corpse."

He said and with that he punched August in the gut, he fell at least three feet far away from the impact of the punch and started coughing. I just looked at the old man. he didn’t budge. Although he looked he doesn’t care about me but I could feel his senses alerted. He was vary of me and so was I. “Hand over the witch. She is our kin.” I said and he started laughing like an old maniac. “Your kin. Last time I checked you guys were all over each other’s throat.” “Not her. She is a bit special.” I said and I looked at August. the old man matched my line of sight and it didn’t take him so long to solve two plus two.

“If only she didn't marry a jerk like that guy then she would have lived a better life. Tch, once I saw that man who took my daughter away from me… he will surely get tons of punches from this old man you see” The old man then laugh as he find happiness insulting his son in law. Oliver stand up and clap his hands removing dust on it. The two look at his as he catches their attention. “Is it done?” The old man smiled in excitement. Oliver nodded while smiling. “Good as new”

Another one roared. "Can someone call security?" The others suggested. "Don't worry, ladies. I'll handle this." They all looked satisfied when a man walked towards Marionne. He looked like in his mid-40s, yet still, look formidable and elegant. "I know you, Marionne, right?" Marianne felt like he was showered with ice-cold water. The man in front of him was the father of Ava. "Uhm—yes—yes, sir." He struggled to answer.

Lee states. “So they do work together,” Damion spits, hate thick in his throat. “Or are they all just pawns of the Old Man?” At the mention of his name, a collective shiver runs through us. Alejandro stiffens, his face shuttered. “The Old Man is sly,” Alejandro buts in. “He will never do things openly. He’s a coward. But clever. He won’t tag his name to anything.” Jackson tilts his head, needling him with a smile that’s all knives. “And how would you know?”
