Me: Sure, can you pick me up from my aunt's? Collin: Sure. What time? Me: 7? Collin: See you then. When my life is calm, I know there's a storm on its way. That's how it happens, right? You are either in the calm before the storm or right in the eye. And that's where I am, in the eye of the storm. It's calm only for a moment. If I look around me and see my horizons, I will see the swarming chaos encircle me and surround me. I won't be consumed by it quickly, but when the eye passes, it will hit me hard.

I said and started to undone the knot on my blindfold. "Are you insane?" Rai and Aeneas exclaimed together, while Elodie screamed and hid her head between her knees as a kid scared of a storm. Adorable. "Insane?" I turned to meet their eyes, and they met mine, once I had already seen their deaths and they both know that they are going to live for a long time, enough to get married and have tons of children and even met their grandchildren. The same cannot be said for me.

“And while the boys and I were still in Moonstone. I would dream about you… it used to scare me before I learned to understand the visions more. I’ve always thought your eyes are like storm clouds. “Hold on, Luca! Fight it! Fight it!” The voice inside Luca’s mind spoke again, more clearly now, commanding and ancient. “Join me… become whole… leave the weak behind.” Luca’s own thoughts screamed against it. “No! I am Luca! I am me!” The street around them exploded with energy. Cars were thrown aside like toys. Concrete shattered. The ground beneath them cracked. Aiden gritted his teeth, keeping his grip on Luca. And then—silence. --- The Eye of the Storm Luca sat up slowly, glowing faintly, energy now pulsing rhythmically rather than violently. The shadowy figure behind him flickered and froze, watching, restrained but not gone.

-Dream­­- A howl pierced through the air. I sat up straight. I heard the howl again and realized it was Owen and Storm. Grabbing sweats and putting on boots and a coat. I ran outside. From my left, I could see glowing amber eyes approaching me. Storm slowly walked towards me, showing he was no threat to me. “Hey, I have missed you,” I said, tears streaming down my face.

My heart does a little somersault when I see that he is closer to my window. I see him a little clearly now. The sky is dark, and the storm is getting terrible. Yet he stands there, unfazed, untouched by everything around him. The sky brightens up suddenly with a bolt of lightning, and a second later, thunder crashes loudly. I jerk from the sound, but in the split second of bright light, I catch a glimpse of his eyes. They're dark, soulless, as dark as a bottomless abyss. The remaining half of his face is hidden behind a black face mask.

There are natural disasters. Tornadoes, whirlwinds, hurricanes, floods. And then, there is Zefiro. Zefiro the man, Zefiro my lover, Zefiro my stalker. A destructive force made of flesh, bones and beautiful tan skin. I’ll type everything and send you the document to sign via mail.” “Okay then,” she smiled. “Nice meeting you Mr. Storm.” “The pleasure is mine, Miss Hail,” I smiled back. “Its Hall,” she corrected. “Samantha Hall.” “I’d prefer hail,” I said. “Storm and Hail. They go together well don’t you think?” She was about to say something when I noticed two men on leather jackets moving towards me from the corner of my eyes. I turned around quickly and saw the pistol. “Samantha!”

I place my hand on her back, trying to soothe her. "It hurts." She mumbles in between sobs. I move some of the hair from her face and can feel that she's running warmer than usual. She looks up at me, and her eyes are glowing purple. I take in a sharp breath, not expecting her to be showing any signs of her powers developing, but I give her a small, reassuring smile.

Stormy’s voice was both filled with excitement and confusion. “I do have a few special abilities, since I am a wolf of Golden light. One of them is being able to mind-link anyone,” Dora explained, and Stormy’s eyes shone even brighter. What was up with him? “Eye-sight problem for sure. He might be handsome, but he is so basic! Of course, he prefers blondes like Dora! It’s a wonder that she didn’t tell him she is the Goddess-sent wolf, the one who never poops or farts!” Cal chimed in, a frown clear on her muzzle.
