SMACK Jay sucked a sharp breath of air in through his clenched teeth, making a hissing sound as a red mark appeared on his left thigh. He didn't miss the smirk on Ram's face. "Please tell me, what is so funny?" Damon whispered as he rounded on the members, a vein almost popping in his neck as he fought back the urge to smack the smirk off the man's face. "These are someone's fangs. As if the act of taking them weren't despicable enough in itself, you think it's okay to laugh about it?" Damon shouted.

I was about to jump out of bed and walk out on him but before I could move, he clasped his hands around my face, squeezing it gently still smiling at me.

I greeted back and threw her a half-smile—the one I usually made towards people who I dislike. Luckily, Sarra and her friends didn’t seem to realize the difference in the smile I gave her and returned it to me as a shy smack on my shoulder. I silently winced from the sharp pain.
