I was gripping the stool so hard my knuckles ached. “Fair folk,” she said, her voice turning sharp. “Don’t ever call them fairies. That word is a lie. They are not cute. They are not kind. They are old as time, twisted by beauty and cruelty. They trade in riddles and pain. Step into their realm, and time will forget you. You will come back hollow, if you come back at all.”

The fire fairy, a figure of flickering flames and intense eyes, stepped forward with a resigned sigh. “Since you’re here, we must explain the rules of the Chosen Lady. First, you are considered holy and must guard against any impure thoughts. Second, you are expected to assist people and nations in times of crisis. Third, you must foster harmony between humans and the supernatural.” The water fairy, with a serene, flowing demeanor, added, “There are additional minor rules, which we will disclose as needed.”

*** Skyworld. In a brightly lit palace on one of the highest mountain peaks of the Great West Empire. A woman whose head was adorned with an exaggeratedly decorated crown gazed at the person who requested an audience with her. "Your Highness," greeted the man whose features resembled an elf. In the Skyworld, people like him were called Forest Fairies. He had a natural good-looking face and tall built, his ears long and pointed. The visit of this forest fairy happened a day after the battle between Mayari of the Skyworld and Anda of the Underworld.

“The realm of the faes. That is why the meadow here has a magical quality to it.” Wow. Inside, my heart was jumping. Faes...fairies...they are real! “So I take it we could easily cross to that realm if we want to?” I rushed to say whilst sitting on my seat. I genuinely wanted to know not only because I was an avid fan of Fantasy, but because it concerned me and my pending return to Earth. Prince Elijah somehow chuckled at my question. “Ah no, it doesn’t work like that, Queen Serena.” He rounded the table and pulled back his own chair on Rhea’s left.

But my mind couldn’t think of another explanation. I was starting to get the idea that the woman at the bar may have been for real. But what was she? Some sort of witch or deamon? The forest was her body, everything growing from one root. Because of the dense mana her body emitted, monsters, mythical creatures, and fairies flocked to the forest, turning it into their habitat.

He and Hierro, though, took a step back as they let the fog surround Blue. “Yes…” Hierro nodded in agreement as he stared at Blue. As an avid fan of fantasy, naturally, he likes fairies, who are commonly found in this genre. Thus, when he first met Blue, he was really in awe. This is a real-life fairy, after all! Who can meet a fairy in real life?! Definitely no one in his world, since in his world, fairies are non-existent beings. They are just a product of fiction.

The house of Shayne is not totally invisible, it is only located in other dimension, different from ours, in that dimension, they used to live, undisturbed from human scrutiny and interference.
