Cael intercepted it instantly, swinging his sword in a wide arc. The blade sliced through the creature’s arm. But instead of dissolving like normal shadow creatures… The wound closed. Cael jumped back. “Okay, that’s new.” Lyra raised her glowing hand. Golden light burst from her palm. The energy slammed into the wraith, sending it crashing into a bookshelf. Ancient scrolls scattered across the floor. The creature rose again. Unharmed. Nyx’s eyes widened. “It’s adapting.” Lyra’s heart raced. “That’s not possible.”

Sashi said while continuing from writing. "Wraith? Ah, you called me once like that before. What is that anyway?" Clark ask while giving all of his attention to Sashi. "A wraith, an evil ghost. Those who died with wrong doings in life. Like that." Sashi explained. "Ahhh." They stayed like that for a while because Sashi need to finish taking some notes. Clark just observing her the whole time. "Stop staring, I can't concentrate here." Sashi said without looking at Clark.

"I know this might sound stupid. But I swear I could hear it whisper my pack's name. I don't know....I was already messed up in my mind from seeing the death rates. Maybe I didn't hear properly." It’s not a simple ghost. A wraith is born from agony—pure, uncontrollable anger and resentment. When someone dies in such a way, with so much hatred and pain in their heart, they don’t just fade away. They linger. They transform into something... else.”
