On the other hand, Iridescent the ‘Heart Manipulator’ amped their attraction to each other. Indeed, it was a fairytale story in the making. The lovers lived in a happy bubble created by the fairies who interfered daily to mold their interactions to perfection. Gallus, dubbed as the Prince of Mischief at that time, disliked how things were. When people’s planned day turns into a bloody mess or bump into an unexpected hurdle, Faes would say: “Shoo away the Prince of Mischief, he’s the culprit.”

It shouldn’t be. “Ain’t no way I will love a man like you.” I rolled my eyes. “You sell yourself too high.” That reply got me a laugh from him, yet it seemed like he liked my response “So it’s a deal?” For my whole life, I’ve learned that fairy tales were a complete lie created by those who refused to live in reality. Love was just another fancy shit that couldn’t be enjoyed by everyone, and I probably wasn’t one of them.

The sad ending. The way she was telling everything felt like a fairy tale story, which it actually was for few hours. But then a disaster followed by leaving everything upside down. Fairy tales don't have these kind of endings, do they? Except this one wasn't even a fairy tale. Xx__xX

I think I have been in this bathroom for more than thirty minutes being super comfortable with trying to calm the butterflies that erupted In my belly because I felt like my fairy tale had just begun. It's a norm for fairy tales to have happy endings with singing forest birds and a lavish wedding with the Prince and princess riding off into the meadows with the prospects of a happier life. In my fairy tale, I wasn't whisked off and seduced by a prince. I was deceived and kidnapped by a dark lord who so happened to be my father's enemy while also being my soulmate

Then we'd talk late into the evening hours about our day. I gave myself a mental bitch-slap and straightened. Fairy tales were nothing but pithy shit. Lies. They weren't real, and neither was the idea I could ever have something normal. Especially not with a guy as great as Matt. He may be Prince Charming, but I wasn't Cinderella. The problem is, not all fairytales have happy endings. In fact, most of the early tales were quite gruesome morality tales designed to warn and scare. I know my way by heart and soon find my favorite bench, near a window, with all my favorite books. Today didn’t feel like a fairy tale day. I feel like fantasy has failed me.
