I knew we had to talk about the things we’d left unsaid. The lady fell in love with this fairy despite their difference. They met at the river each time. But then the lady got pregnant with his child so she decided to runaway without telling her beloved fairy the truth. Soon, the lady gave birth to a special boy. He was half-human and half-fairy. The lady called her son her little water prince. The story ends with the lady keeping his son's secret until the day she died with a broken heart.” Popsie Reed finishes and stays silent as if remembering his own mother

The fairy queen’s voice—piercing, begging. “Please… don’t…” But Caleb didn’t stop. I saw it—vivid, horrifying. He ripped her stomach open, blood spilling like a river. He pulled out the fetus and devoured it with grotesque delight. “I am king! I take what I please! Soon I will have my Aurora and her untouched pussy.” I fell to my knees, choking back a sob. My tears ran dry before they even fell. A hand touched my shoulder. The scent struck me instantly—familiar.

“Mommy, you and Sarah can go to bed first. I’ll be bathing now!” “Alright.” Sally ruffled her obedient son’s hair. “Sleep early. Don’t mess around in the bathroom.” “Got it!” The little guy smiled as he shut the door to the bathroom. Sally yawned and walked into Sarah’s bedroom. She picked up a book of fairytales and lay on the bed before asking, “Where did we stop yesterday?” “We stopped when the little mermaid turned into a human and went looking for her prince.” Dressed like a pink bunny, the little girl leaned against the bed and blinked innocently as she gazed at Sally.

The noise in the hall died down once the Fairy King spoke up, and Hildegarde was left all alone. “You sure are quick to make a decision.” A voice that belonged to neither the Fairy King nor the elders forced its way into the hall. Space rippled as a young boy who was barely twelve years old stepped into the hall. His eyes were as lovely as lapis lazuli, but no one felt healing from those eyes. The fairies who looked into his eyes shrunk back in fright, with some falling from the sky in dizziness. Only the elders and the Fairy King were able to match his gaze.

I crease my forehead upon hearing such a jerky comment; I snort hearing the cold voice of Henry. How dare him. I feel really insulted by the way he said those. It is official; this guy is a major A (asshole), HE will definitely make my stay here complicated and a great nightmare. I take a deep breath to calm myself so I can still control myself once I will see that Henry jerk. I wonder.... is this the start of my sufferings under this people’s hands? Will I really be like Snow White, or Cinderella, or Belle in Beauty and the Beast? I know it... this is why I hated fairy tales. Nothing always goes smoothly in life.
