Let’s read something happier.” I reached for the book on my nightstand, a massive, leather-bound volume of classic fairy tales that I kept handy for nights like this. I opened it to a random page, settling on a story about a mischievous tooth fairy. My voice was soft and dramatic as I began to read. “...and the fairy, with a flick of her tiny tooth-shaped wand, transformed the hunter’s prize-winning hound into a perfect little frog...”

No matter how good a dream is, we always have to snap back from it. All fairy tales usually have a happy ending, the prince saves the princess from an ogre, a knight in shining armor saves a lady from a hulky brute of a man and so forth. But the world lies, that is not what always happens. Fairy tales rarely have a happy ending. The prince will save the princess and trip down some stairs, fall down and break his neck. Or the lady will live for a few years as a wife to the night and die from child birth. The story tellers never give the actual tale, the sell what appeases to the eye and heart.

The sad ending. The way she was telling everything felt like a fairy tale story, which it actually was for few hours. But then a disaster followed by leaving everything upside down. Fairy tales don't have these kind of endings, do they? Except this one wasn't even a fairy tale. Xx__xX

Flipping the page over, I read a few more lines. The book was quite intriguing. But after a few pages, it was slipping out of reality and going through some non realistic stories. By the time I read my third fairytale story about a fairly young woman getting lost at sea and ended up falling in live with a beast that lived beyond the lands of the five Kingdoms, I softly closed the book and let out a sigh. "That was fun." Prince Victor sarcastically commented before lifting his arms over his head and letting out a loud yawn.

Erin had a weak heart so she couldn't handle scary things well. "What is that?" he asked herself, finding a strange insect flying with different glowy colors. It is really beautiful. If Erin is still a child, she would believe it is a fairy guarding the forest! "W-Wait!" she panicked when it started to fly away from her. She followed it, forgetting to put marks in every tree she passed. Her attention was drowned only by a strange insect. Along the way, it disappeared. Leaving Erin disappointed for not even touching it. It's her first time to see insects like that, other people probably saw that and she's the only one left behind since her father won't let her.
