January 30 is an important day. If I forget it my best friend will probably kill me. It's Kay's birthday today and I'm so excited! This year we aren't going out all day which makes me super happy because that's all we've ever done. Today we are going to have breakfast at my house, watch a movie of her choice, then we'll cook lunch, after lunch we are going to do nails and hair, then we are going to Kay's place for clothes, then we are going out. She planned this all herself and she wanted to do my hair and nails after I told her no. Yet you can't really tell Kay no and get her to actually listen.

As the days flew by, Bella's 19th birthday approached faster than she had anticipated. Her birthday fell on the 21st of May, and it felt like the past year had passed in a blur. It was a strange feeling to be on the cusp of adulthood, and she couldn't help but reflect on the whirlwind of experiences that had brought her to this point. Lily, her ever-supportive friend, was the one to remind her of the upcoming milestone. It had slipped my mind and I'd only remembered it the next day which was Liam's birthday.

George Howard politely invites Mable Bell. "I... I want to know why Flora Mana can't go?" Mable Bell turns to look at me. "Due to Some family matters." I deliberately emphasize the word family matters.
