Sweet 16

Sweet 16

now let's get to the part where everything turned to utter shit. I woke up with a groan. Today was my 16th birthday, and I felt like utter crap. I felt like I was burning up. my mum walked into the room and opened the curtains. "Time to get up and get ready for school." "I don't feel good, mum. I think I am sick. I feel really hot, "

Lonely Bride

I shout. They both finally broke the hug and grinned at me. "What?" I said, looking at them. They both rolled their eyes together, and Sam said, "Sarah, at least be happy someday. Why are you always grumpy?" Sam huffs dramatically. "What is so special today?" I asked while taking the newspaper. "It is your birthday today. What else do you want?" Nathan spoke. "I do not like my birthday, and you know it, so please let us not start again, and if you guys are done with breakfast, let us leave. We are getting late for the office." I said, still keeping my eyes on the business news.

Carter

My birthday was the next celebration to arrive. Logan made a point of making a big deal out of it after how bad my last one was. He booked a fancy restaurant, followed by a night in with my favourite dessert and movie, topped off with a video call to family. Over the next few weeks, I started to plan a birthday surprise for Logan for just the two of us. On the lead up to his birthday and during my secret planning sessions I had started feeling off and I had thrown up a few times. It was only when I slowed down and took some time to myself, I felt the worst. When I was rushing around and busy with other things the sickness, although there, was not at the forefront of my mind. I decided to boo

CLAIMED BY THE BILLIONAIRE

CLAIMED BY THE BILLIONAIRE

"I went to pick up Diana and she was already there." "What happened?" "The kids were playing together." He smiled. "They're really attached." "I've noticed. Then Diana started talking about her birthday." I frowned. "So?" "She said it's on July sixth and Damien immediately said that's his birthday too." I stared at him for a second before shrugging. "That's normal." Adrian raised an eyebrow. "You think so?" "There are millions of people born on the same day. It's just a coincidence." He shrugged. "I suppose."

Together, We Conquer

Together, We Conquer

“I’m sorry, I don’t know. And to be honest, with everything that has happened for the past few days, I guess my mind sort of forgot that my birthday was coming up.” Because of the whole thing about Ken’s poor health condition, and about Randell and his family issues, it did make a lot of sense for Singto to overlook his own special, once a year event; that is his birthday. “I get that and that’s a reasonable answer and everything… okay, but your birthday is special!” Krist wasn’t still letting this go. By hearing that from Krist, Singto can’t help but to smiled sweetly at his hyper boyfriend. There were just so many sides to Krist that he enjoyed discovering every single day.

I paused to gauge her reaction, and she just looked at me in awe. "I never liked my birthday " She started. "Since I was little, Sophie always made me feel special. She always made me feel special, like a birthday princess. After she died, I didn't see any reason to celebrate it. My very existence was the reason she died anyways. It's not a happy day."

I replied, laughing. "Absolutely normal," She pointed at me. "Nope," "Yes," "Nope," "Can you guys just stop acting like teenagers? You're both old women for Christ's sake" Pinky interfered while laughing. "I'm just eighteen, don't go all shitty on me, ma'am" I stuck my tongue out at her. "I'm sorry we missed your birthday, Barbara," My aunt apologized and I waved it off. My birthday was a day after the same day Pinky had an accident. It had slipped my mind and I'd only remembered it the next day which was Liam's birthday.

Book Zombie
Pretty good so far, I'm broken hearted where I'm at in the book. Author keeps commenting about people asking for steamy scenes but it's a "teen book". Would love to read a rewrite one day with more detail about a few things that have happened and of course those steamy scenes, LoL.
@it's me!
wait what! I can't believe this ended like this.......I was hoping it to end some other way but everything don't go as you think....so yeah I have to say that this book was a awesome read...and with a really different story line .. thank you so much dear author for sharing it with us.

The Wife Of A Merciless Mafia

It's not my birthday today. "Uhm? Today isn't my birthday?" I informed them and I guess I asked it to them. "Why are you greeting me? Uh it's not my birthday." I added. "Who says it's not your birthday today?" I turned to one side in front of me because I heard Zach's voice. "Today is December 24th." He informed me. "WHAT?!" Am I hearing right? December 24th today?

Oh yeah, I could see that going spectacularly. 'Wow, teenagers really are mopey creatures. You know it’s my birthday too and you are really bringing down the vibes,' Alma whines. I sigh, feeling guilty. She’s right, it’s her birthday too and I’m being a royal sour puss. 'I’m sorry, Alma. I didn’t mean to bring you down. Happy Birthday,' I say, trying to lighten the mood. 'Happy Birthday, Sorrell,' she says affectionately. “Happy Birthday, Alma,” says my dad, instantly brightening her mood more than my apology did.

Trying again. Awesome book! The bonus story in the Queen Among series takes us into the past showing us the journey that leads to the current books. Another story featuring a strong female lead. This is full of humour that will have you in stitches.

Granny Sorrell will always have a special place in my heart. She's feisty, fearless and knows how to pack a punch!! We all need a Granny like that in our lives! Bite-Size Luna is a fantastic addition to the author's universe, it totally exceeded my expectations. I couldn't stop reading it!

Frequently Asked Questions

Mom's worst birthday started with such high hopes—she’d hinted for weeks about wanting a quiet day, maybe a homemade cake. But then the plumbing backed up at 6 AM, flooding the kitchen. Dad tried to fix it himself, which... didn’t go well. By noon, the sink was still gurgling ominously, and the cake mix sat untouched. Then her sister called to cancel their lunch plans last minute, and the bouquet Dad ordered arrived with wilted roses. The kicker? Our dog chose that afternoon to dig up her prized tulips. She laughed it off eventually, but that year became family legend—the 'Birthday of Disasters.'

What stuck with me was how she turned it around. After sulking for an hour, she declared we’d order pizza and watch 'The Princess Bride' in pajamas. Now we reenact that chaotic day every year as a weird tribute. It’s less about the mishaps and more about how she taught us to shrug off life’s little explosions.
