I wanted to avoid her trouble as much as possible. I walked towards the exit of my block, my head feeling a little heavy. Ugh! I needed some sleep. I got to the part where I needed to make use of the stairs and just when I was about to climb down, I felt a force push me off and I found myself rolling down the long stairs. “Argh!” I gave a sharp s¢ream as the fall made me roll over on each hard stair till I’d gotten to the floor. I gave a frightening gasp.

The problem was, I lost my balance and fell down the stairs. Shit! I closed my eyes as I fell. I tried to protect my head with one hand while the other one instinctively reached out, hoping it would help. I groaned as I felt the different pains in my body. I couldn’t move. I stifled a cry as I felt the pain in my right foot, which seemed to be caught during the fall, and my hand, which I had stretched out. I also felt dizzy, as I had been slightly injured on my head and back.

As our eyes met, Linda's gaze sending shivers down my spine, I instinctively looked down and commenced my descent, without another thought. As I took just five steps, my world suddenly spiraled out of control. I found myself tumbling down the stairs, my body rolling uncontrollably until I finally landed on the hard floor, clutching my stomach in agony. A sharp, piercing pain tore through me, causing me to let out a desperate cry. I realized I was bleeding, and the realization only intensified my anguish. Unable to contain my torment, I screamed, the sound echoing through the air.

I replied. Stacy turned on the faucet. She washed her hands, but her eyes were on my reflection in the mirror. And no lie, I could still hear her sniggering even though it was slightly disguised by the flowing water. "It's hard when you're climbing several flights of stairs at once," she said casually. "And even if you succeed, you'll definitely stagger, or you might even fall to the bottom of the stairs." "Excuse me?" I said, feeling offended.

I noticed her futile attempt to grab the railing, fingers slipping, and the faint sound of fabric tearing as her hand instinctively reached out for support. The back of her head slammed into the unforgiving corner of the stairs. The descent, a brutal journey step by excruciating step, unfolded in a series of gut-wrenching snapshots. Her expression, initially a mix of fleeting surprise and fear, twisted into one of agonizing pain as she slid down the stairs, each impact on the back of her head leaving a mark on the staircase. I rushed forward, a surge of desperate energy propelling me. But with each step I took, it felt like an insurmountable distance from her.

Hades will kill me after this if he finds me. I limped to the stairs, before slowly walking down, holding the railing tightly. My body burnt in searing pain, everything hurt so bad and my knees wanted to buckle up any moment now. Then he pushed me forcefully down the stairs. My body falls back loosing my equilibrium as my heart leaps out from my chest. My hands were reaching for him to help me but he just watched me fall. I shut my eyes closed before I felt my body painfully dropping to the ground as I was rolling down the stairs. "Oh my god..." Liv's shaking voice echoes through my ears before I lost my sight. My back hits the ground with the final thud as I exhaled painfully. My tears crawled out from the corner of my eyes...

So I took the stairs. I was halfway up to the second floor, my heels clicking against marble, when I heard footsteps above me. Quick, purposeful. I moved to the side to let whoever it was pass. That's when my heel caught. One moment I was standing. The next, I was falling backward, my body tilting, the world spinning, and all I could see was marble rushing up to meet me and I was going to die again, I was going to break on these stairs just like I broke on the estate stairs and—

She groaned as she had to use the stairs. Just as she passed just four steps on the staircase, she suddenly and unexpectedly missed her step. As she began to fall, she grabbed the only thing that was in sight, the Shirt of Someone walking down the staircase. But it wasn't of great help to her, as she ended up tearing the white shirt and falling to the ground.

She had to go down some stairs. Her heart pounded in her chest as the fear that she would trip and fall down the stairs to the floor below, in front of all those people swelled. But what could she do? She had to go down the stairs. There were only ten of them,so perhaps there was still a chance that she could make it down the lot of them without falling.
