Outside, it was seventy degrees below zero. Anyone buried that deep wouldn't last long. Other buildings were in the same state—supplies gone, people fighting for food. Violence and murder spreading. Everywhere, the world was collapsing into hell. Cyrus kept eating, running scenarios in his head. He needed to monitor his neighbors and the other survivors beyond this building. They weren't flying; they were falling. Below them, the Capital was a sprawling, jagged landscape of silver spires and obsidian shadows, partially obscured by the swirling white of a blizzard. The clouds that had carried the Black-Rain were gone, replaced by a natural, cleansing snow that stung Sofia’s eyes as she tumbled through the air. "Nomo! Deploy the stabilizers!" Autumn felt her world collapse in slow motion as Iris pushed her. The last thing she saw was the shock etched on Iris’s face before Ivan suddenly appeared beside her, standing frozen in disbelief. The moment stretched endlessly, but then gravity took over, and Autumn’s head plummeted towards the unforgiving concrete floor below.

"You're here, aren't you? What's going to happen to me?" Leo stepped closer to him, cornering Archer against the table. As he lowered his eyes, meeting Archer's gentle, smiling gaze, Leo felt the burning feeling in his chest intensify. However, he refused to lose to Archer. I felt myself falling, weightless and helpless, before everything went black. The last thing I heard was Ian screaming my name, Kim shouting in panic, and my own heartbeat crashing loudly in my ears. Then silence. IAN’S POV "Willow!" I yelled the moment her body hit the floor. My heart slammed painfully against my ribs as I rushed toward her. She wasn’t moving. Her eyes were closed. Her body was completely still. Fear shot through me like lightning. I dropped to my knees beside her and grabbed her shoulders gently. "Willow, hey. Wake up. Please." No response. Not even a flinch.
