Knight and Lucious exchanged worried glances as they felt the turmoil through their bond. "Something's wrong," Knight whispered, reaching for her hand. The moment his skin touched hers, a jolt of emotion flooded through him: terror, confusion, and a desperate need to run. Lucious placed his palm against her forehead, using the contact to send calming energy through their bond. "She's dreaming about the shift," he murmured. "About being chased."
