"Would you like any snacks with—" I gasp halfway through my question, nearly dropping the tray. Rhys is holding a familiar book in his hand. I instantly know what it is, but I stubbornly hope he didn’t read it. That thought flies out the window when he opens his mouth. "You have quite the imagination, Kira Davidson."

"Thank you." Franka’s small frame sagged under the bag’s weight. She led me up narrow stairs with wood creaking under our feet. The air smelled of dust and wax. We reached a small room with a single bed with a thin blanket. In a corner, there was a wooden chair, chipped at the edges. A cracked window let in too much chill. I expected better, but I didn’t care. Franka set the bag down. “Welcome to the Luna's retinue. Let me know if you need anything else."

Fang Wei took his baby and gave it to her, Moriah giggled when the baby smiled at her. “Oh, you're so beautiful,” Moriah cooed. “Just like you,” Fang Wei said, and reached out to push a tendril of Moriah’s hair behind her ear. The sight was an eyesore to Ethan. His wife allowed a man to flirt with her. I snapped along the spines of the books littered on my shelf, the name sounded so familiar like I had seen it somewhere, but I couldn’t remember exactly what it was about. There was no book on the shelf here that reminded me of it. Library, it had to be in the pack library. I marched out of the house and drove to the library.

I growled loudly in warning. "Edward. Fang. Please just give us the girls. Let's end all this." Ben pleaded and I glared at him for showing weakness. I wanted blood. Their blood. Fang laughed again, evilly hysterical, but there was no humor in his eyes. He stopped circling us and stopped by the weird empty space in the room. "There it is. The evil villain in you. I'm so loving this. Aren't you loving this Edward?" Fang asked his brother and Edward smirked.

"Really? You know they said that they went againt the five families for me. I didn't believe that one bit. Do you think they are telling the truth?" "I didn't feel any malicious intent from them Wren. But if you feel unsafe we can leave," Wren pouted. He was still a child in beast for years. He had not been in contact with many humans or beats. He did not know who to trust but thankfully Feng was with him. With his guidance, he was assured that they both will be safe. He hugged him tightly. "we are leaving though.." "Okay your wish.
