Passionately Devoted to Loving You

Passionately Devoted to Loving You

“Is everyone thinking the same thing? Alaric is cunning like a fox, and the Ross family has a young cunning fox too. When both cunning people work together, they’re going to end up wreaking havoc. So, please don’t blame me for worrying too much. I’m someone who died many times and understands what death means more than anyone else.” “I work with you because I see no hope,” Mrs. Plath said gently and took a deep breath. “Because I can’t see any hope, so I became disappointed. At our age, we no longer have the passion that we had when we’re young. How much… hope do we have left to strive for in our lives?” “We are still alive so that we can die in a better way later. Understand?” That man’s vo

actually this book shouldn't be tagged with marriage, obsession, love-triangle or anything related to romance. it should be something like crime, suspense, investigation, mystery... because most of the long winded ones aren't about the romance but the crimes & business rivals

Fueling the fire

Fueling the fire

Athena POV “I used to think my life was a tragedy, but now I realize, it’s a comedy”. That famous quote from the Joker runs through my head over and over, as my clothes are absolutely drenched in slimy red and yellow gunk. Only, in my case, it’s still a tragedy. I fail to see the comedy part in all of this.

Nanny For The Alpha's Lost Twins

Nanny For The Alpha's Lost Twins

The first student to be honored was a math scholar, and after that was an eight-year-old human who had gotten a book published, something with dragons, and then we were treated to the school’s acting scholar, who recited Shakespeare with a depth of feeling that was truly impressive. To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep, No more; and by a sleep to say we end The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;

The Reaper's Pet

The Reaper's Pet

| {In the fell clutch of circumstance} {I have not winced nor cried aloud} | What keeps repeating in my head are the words of the poem "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley; something the Sisters taught me at Nuestra Señora de la Buen Viaje and I memorized as a child. I used to recite the same words to myself during severe attacks of depression. I guess I forgot that I knew them, just like many other parts of my childhood. “I said…” I tell Septimus, a little louder this time, “… you’re wrong.”

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

“Pity the living, and above all, those who live without love.” - Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. ~ CASPIAN ~ “I forgot to tell you all that this is only the beginning.” Those words reverberate like thunderbolts before they are gone again, their absence shifting the battlefield into a silence heavier than fear. Heavier than pain. Heavier than loss.

ISSY (easy)

ISSY (easy)

She found Joel still seated comfortably as he bobbed his head to the music in his ears. Shooting him a killing look, she sat on one of the chairs close to the door. The motivational posters of various colours that decorated the sky-blue painted walls caught her attention. And most of them, she observed, contained quotes from famous people. Some she had heard of and some she had read about. "A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt. That one made her smile. “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." ~ Nelson Mandela

To all my readers, you must have observed the chapters are doubled. Now, I do no know why, but please be patient with me as this might be a technical difficulty. Skip the repetition and read one of each. Thanks.

I'm speechless. Lol, nice ending but if you have a sequel, don't hesitate to write. Friendship is important, and not blaming yourself is vital. We should keep our heads up no matter what life throws at us. I was able to complete the reading of this book. I recommend it to everyone.

Is Life A Single Player Experience?

Is Life A Single Player Experience?

"Today could be your last! You could die in your sleep! You could get hit by a bus!" Okay, the last part is not really my favorite. I already had my traumatic experience with that. "You, that mole is raised and dark. That's not a good sign..!" When I finally reach the door, Professor Cloom slaps my palm like we're highschool buddies and say, "Come on, lighten up! Carpe diem!" What a weird old man. He probably believes that we live in a Dead Poets Society. No assignments, no tests; this is it—the ultimate blow-off class! I thought they were some urban college legend. This is definietly gonna be an easy A!

this is the most confusing story I had ever read. there are so many characters and flashbacks, you end up mixing things and no, you don't get to read her comeback because the story skips when they are way older like they are in their fifties? it's not worth reading.

Parsey's Saviour

Parsey's Saviour

And when she walked out with her chin in the air and her heart in race, Caleb started to think — “ if this isn’t the girl I’m going to marry, then I don’twant to get married at all “ Zendaya is called to the stage to recite her poem and she looks really confident. Zendaya; ‘’What is dead may never die’’ a reference I got from The Game of Thrones series Ashes from an undead featherless phoenix Tales of a wild beast man that transforms into a more hideous creature at the stroke of Midnight once every month I’d draw a line around my heart to remind myself the day all these stories were all but tales told to keep me at bay by the elders And my less favorite the story of a man who gave his heart

Until I Wrote Him

Until I Wrote Him

She cleared her throat, over-enunciating as though performing Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre. “Love isn’t patient, love isn’t kind… it’s fire, and it burns everything it touches.” She looked at me expectantly, starry-eyed. I wanted to slide under the table and melt into the floor. Was this real life? Was I being forced to quote my own tortured prose like a trained parrot? “Um.” My voice cracked. “Yes, that… that does sound like something I wrote.” “It is!” another boy shouted. “Page two seventy-three, right after the betrayal scene! I highlighted it!”
