Once Upon An Alpha

Once Upon An Alpha

What did he think I wanted? “The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.” I deadpanned Alastor. If Harriet was her, I knew her sentiment would be something along the lines of ‘Come at me, bitch.’ “Shakespeare?” Alastor seemed less guarded but definitely thrown off. “Of course.” I walked over towards the bookshelves with my hands grasped behind my back. “I say there is no darkness but ignorance.” I turned to face Alastor. The surprise was etched into every pore.

This story is so good!! The author seems to put time and effort behind their characters!! And while peoples choices can be frustrating, baby beta looking at you, they all make sense with how the story is progressing and what’s happened! Couldn’t recommend this book enough!

I love this book. The author has created a wonderful world with well thought characters that I actually care about. The characters aren't perfect, they each have their own flaws and personalities. Each of them have grown in their own ways.

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Three months later, the journey began. The first leg of The Fire We Share tour rolled out—not in luxury, but in purpose. Their white sprinter bus wasn’t glamorous, but it was home on wheels. Shelves lined with donated books. Warm golden lights overhead. And painted across both sides, three simple quotes from Sophia’s memoir: “You are not hard to love.” “Your silence was never a flaw. It was a pause.” “We don’t rise to impress. We rise to breathe.”

My Dear Master, We're Mates! (M×M)

My Dear Master, We're Mates! (M×M)

“What did the old lady do?” Leo chuckles, revealing his pearly white teeth. “She said the young lady making the coffee disrespected her, but when I heard the whole story, she didn't.” “She shouldn't embarrass women that way.” “Yeah, yeah.” Leo says, “now, back to the story. What was your favorite line?” “Hmm,” I swallow down the coffee in my mouth, eyes lighting up as I recall the line. “Even if you die a million times, I'll keep finding you, my love. Our souls are tied, not even time can break us.”

One Sentence Before Death

One Sentence Before Death

The atmosphere became strangely casual, almost like two old friends catching up after years apart. Jeremy even took the initiative to continue the conversation himself. "But the two students I remember most clearly were also my favorites. You happen to know both of them. "A coincidence too. They even had the same name. "They were both called Jason. Beautiful name. Handsome boys too. Young, energetic, full of life." As though recalling some cherished memory, a nostalgic look appeared on his face. I fought down the urge to vomit and forced a faint smile. "So it seems you remember very clearly the things you've done."

Silent Flames, Forbidden Paths

Silent Flames, Forbidden Paths

It was the way he seemed to encircle me, always there, never too close, never too far, his presence both reassuring and suffocating. I sat up, hugging my knees to my chest. The room was quiet, save for Mia’s soft breathing from the bunk above me. She’d fallen asleep ages ago, blissfully unaware of my emotional turmoil. Lucky her, or lucky me, don’t know! I glanced around our tiny, shared space, hoping for a distraction. The walls were covered in mismatched posters—Mia’s were bright and cheerful, featuring K-pop stars with jawlines sharper than my wit. Mine were moodier: abstract art and a single poster of an old movie Ethan had forced me to watch. It was called ‘Dead Poets Society’, and I’d

As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity - remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone. Margaret Mead “Let us never forget those who gave all to Skatom Mochain,” I said and lowered my glass to drink. I can say one thing for sure, this stuff wasn’t for the weak, it burned a bit going down.

Omega (Book 1)

Omega (Book 1)

"He believed in greatness and strongly believed, too, that everyone - big and small - was capable of achieving greatness. That was what propelled him from being a lecturer to the Vice Chancellor of this great institution." The old man paused and looked around as if searching for someone. When he spotted Harold and Wilkes, both of whom he recognised quite well, he continued. "But of course, if one thing is certain for us all regardless of where we are today, it is death." By then, all the students had become silent. Death wasn't a topic that was discussed often so when it was, it struck a chord in all that listened. "Some die as heroes, others die as villains." The old man was looking at Haro

Unintentionally chased

He crossed his arms while narrowing his eyes at me. Time passed while playing, laughing and revealing a few things about each other which made me late for the office. Just thinking about it gives me a weird feeling. •••••••••••••• 'Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see'. ~Mark Twain. I used this quote in my poem. H.LOCKHART.

Mated to the Alpha Knight

Mated to the Alpha Knight

An hour later, after searching for anything to help us within books that ranged from brand new to hundreds of years old, I huffed with disappointment and decided to stretch my legs; my pale finger trailed over the spines of books, dust painting my fingertip. Once I reached the poetry section, I smiled brightly. All around me were books from Silvia Plath, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickson, Robert Frost, and many others that were like my old friends. Taking a random book off the shelf, I flipped through its contents. "(...) Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home." ~ Tecumseh "You enjoy poetry too?" A familiar voice spoke behind me, making my heart speed up as I jumped slightly. Turn

Good story but some events that occurred had no impact on the story and I wondered why they were included unless it’s revealed in the next book, e.g., the Truth Lake 🤷🏻‍♀️ when she got bitten by the snake in the lake, what did that all mean🤷🏻‍♀️ Mind I did skim read a lot of it so could have mis

“They are your feelings and you are entitled to them. My dad reminds me that it’s okay to not be okay. But it’s not okay to give up. Life sucks from time to time. We’re talking sucks worse than a dollar blow job.” She rubbed her belly again as the teens laughed. “But the sun comes out again. Little miracles happen. Dreams change and come true. You change. Life changes. You have to go through the darkness to see a sunrise.” “Do not go gentle into the dark night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” Rachel Woodson, her one goth student, quoted. “Love me some Dylan Thomas.” Evie smiled as her alarm dinged. “I have agreed to stay after today if anyone wants to stay also.
