The author of the Novel 'True Love' had made an alternate ending for the story because she had received comments from her readers saying that they would love to see a blonde-haired male lead instead of Fredrick. The author was quite troubled by all the comments but, finally decided to give her fans what they wished for. The alternate story’s name was 'True Love was a Lie'. The author had titled the novel like that because, the villain who was supposed to be the male lead in the original novel dies in the hands on the person whom he wished affection from.
