"You are abnormal." The wizard screamed in shock. "What's your definition of normal?" Giselle asked inching towards the wizard who walked backwards. "You are a coward. You fear what you don't know." Giselle hissed as she lunged towards the wizard in full speed. The wizard snapped out, regaining his composure and stood ready to face the wolf. He opened his palm and a purple smoke ball hovered above it and with the snap of his finger, numerous purple balls of smoke disintegrated from the one smoke ball and were shot in high speed towards Giselle which she dodged gracefully.

Some thing was about to happen; she could sense it. Beside her, her loyal companion, a majestic black wolf named Luna, her grandmother, exhibited a restlessness of her own. The fur on her back stood on end, her keen eyes scanning the surroundings with an intensity matching Emily's own unease. Luna Malfoy had always been attuned to Emily's emotions, and now her wolf instincts seemed to amplify the growing strangeness in the air.

Their dying screams echoed just as more and more of them came out transformed into shadow beasts. “No, you're different Your Majesty, dirty! I-Is that what they're going to do to me? M-make me like them? L-like you?” He whispered hauntingly and I rolled my eyes at his dramatics. I couldn't help the sting his words left in my chest but I smiled through it either way. Careful to keep my face impassive. “You could never be like me Hagrid, even if you wanted to. You’ll probably be a cargo beast at most.” I tittered absentmindedly, stroking a finger on my jaw before the sudden movement caught my eye.

I heard the sound of hooves retreating as Kalden forced the maiden into the carriage, disregarding what she was saying about being able to fight and how she was tired of being treated like a damn glass pony princess. We were almost under the burnt overhang of tree canopies when I watched through my yellowed wolf eyes as one of the pale multi-limbed creatures leaped down and scurried toward us at breakneck speed before the hag hit it with a cacophony spell and the Hybrid seemed to crumple in on itself, standing so it was almost my height on it's huge, werewolf ish hind legs and letting out a guttural groan as more of the beings leaped down.

Part 1. (The werewolf burns in the god flames.) Chapter One: love land The sorcerer entered the palace in a carriage made of gold and scarlet. Four slaves bore him on their shoulders and 6 mages walked before him. The slaves bearing him were all naked- revealing their wicked-looking muscles and the mages wore a pair of black leather trousers with a scarlet robe over their shoulders. Each mage had a staff with a long blade mounted on it- their mere presence screamed "danger".

Snowshade stood and drew a thick bundle of record-crystals from her enchanted ring. She crossed to Garrick and the others and let them fall from her hand. They struck the floor with a clatter and spread open. Etched across them in glowing script were dense lists of crimes, each one more sickening than the last. "This... what is this..." Garrick picked up one crystal with trembling fingers. A single glance, and his face went deathly pale. "They robbed a wandering mage of his relic, just because the material suited a circlet for Lucian Clegane?"

Conversations died mid-sentence as people struggled beneath the sudden, oppressive heat. Goblets stopped halfway to mouths. Silverware froze above plates. Every head turned toward our raised table. Then came the scream. Gadreel’s. His pointing hand jerked violently as he stared at it. The skin around his finger had reddened, then blistered beneath an invisible force. He recoiled, clutching his wrist with his other hand as pain tore another scream from him. The smell of scorched flesh reached us. Rhydan remained unmoved. He simply watched Gadreel as the heat continued to rise.

With a violent, brutal twist of his colossal neck, Killian didn't just bite the drake; he tore its head clean off in mid-air. Boiling, acidic blood rained down on the estate’s shields as the decapitated monster plummeted. Killian rode the massive, dead carcass all the way down, using it as a biological landing pad. BOOM! The impact shook the very foundations of the Scottish Highlands. A shockwave of golden solar fire blasted outward from the crater, instantly incinerating a dozen wyverns that had landed in the courtyard. The massive silver wolf stood up from the crater, shaking the ash and dragon blood from his glowing fur. He threw his colossal head back and unleashed a roar that shattered

"Got it. Though we had to outsmart some very annoying Pokers to get it." "Pokers?" Nyla raised an eyebrow. "Evil little tree creatures who like to trap people in pits and collect their bones," Dalia said with a shudder. "But we figured it out. Eventually." "What about you two?" Kaida asked. "You both look like you've seen ghosts." "Something like that," I muttered, not ready to talk about what I'd had to do in the Mad Mage's cottage. Maybe I never would be. Then Gretchen and Kai appeared. Gretchen's hair hung heavily with damp strands plastered across her face, and she was wearing what looked like a jacket over her shoulders, shivering slightly.

Lilith’s howl echoed across the battlefield and hundreds of wolves stopped fighting for a heartbeat to listen. Draco gave me a lazy smile. “Good girl. Bianca would have been proud. You carry her blood better than I did.” My claws slid deeper into earth. “That is where you’re wrong.” I hurled myself at him again, but Elen stumbled into my path as something flashed overhead Bram’s ashes, summoned by Draco’s twisted magic, coiling into spectral claws. Elen screamed. They descended fast. I didn’t think. I threw myself between her and the descending curse.
