Jacob lifted the book and scanned it carefully, “did the elf give you this?” he asked. “Yeah! What?” “I asked for this book once when I noticed it in the library. He refused to give me because he thinks this book doesn’t belong to me.” Jacob was mad at the elf. “He is annoying1 once he told me that I will never be able to be a mother! I hate that idiot elf.” Fiarra complained.

Elise fell asleep with the Book of Gates in her hands. Kent stirred from his sleep and woke up because of a bad dream. In his dream, he saw around five serpents that crawled so fast to strike Elise from behind. She was calling for his help. He tried to intervene by cutting them with his invisible sword. However, they were as hard like diamonds that even his powerful invisible sword could not even scratch them. He was also running for his life when the serpents turned to him and one of them was about to strike him in his back… that was when he woke up.

Wenzou was not tired though. Going to the shelf she pulled a big black book that had seen much wear down off the shelf. It was hard for her to read the words, but lighting a candle she did so just the same.

Elle muttered to herself as she went in search of the books she wanted, she moved into the fantasy/paranormal section, she walked around for sometime before she came across a book that said "Aether world" She picked it up and scanned it, it talked about two realms that were once together. She quickly scanned the book once more, she saw names like halflings, faires, humans and a lot of weird things she saw in the other realm. The book said "fiction" in bold letters but she took it anyway. She made to sit down and read it there but she decided against that and walked to the librarian "I'll take this with me" she said as she placed the book on the desk.

Venus slowly repeated, trying to grasp her mind around what she was seeing and hearing. The kingdom of Everglade was north to the kingdom of Salazar. It was also the home of the Elf race. While they worshipped nearly the same gods as here, the elves were also known to worship their own made gods. They were also known for their perfect if not near craftsman ship, pale blonde hair, and swift movements during fighting and dancing.

The sky was painted light green. The color of their rivers was the lightest green ever. Some elves were bending down near some of the rivers and drinking out of them. There was no way Angela would dip her mouth in the green water, thoughtless drink it. Everything here favored plants. This was what she was expecting. So many of the storybooks she had read described the elf world clearly. She wondered how the writers knew so much about the magic world. They would have gone to many magical places to discover. They were really hardworking people.

Most of the pages in the front were smudged too terribly to read anything but once it became legible, I started to shake with happiness. It was a story book! Eagerly I began reading the first story that wasn't destroyed. MY mouth dropped open in wonder at this finding. It was a shadow elf storybook, and a very old one. Page after page I flipped through the words absorbing every word that I could. The stories were full of ghastly creatures similar to the ghoulcat and the heroes of ancient Gwathendor who fought them. And their lady loves that they saved along the way. Soon enough I was hunched over the bed with the little book in my lap and my head in the clouds.
