Fatal Flaws Book Novels & Stories

Because if I, who didn't have so many problems to call traumas, already had considerable difficulties dealing with people and my own sleep, I could imagine what kind of things were going on in his head every day, even awake. "I know he's about to die," she said coldly. "I gave him your book because you told us in your outbreak that they contained dark arts that were strong enough to summon creatures. So I punished you for this lie, for thinking I was wanting to cause fear in the other girls, but when I was alone with the object, I really felt a presence. I gave him the book because I had the hope that he would invoke something strong enough to take him to hell. But I regretted my decision, a

she dared to say. "It's a prideful thing to say my child. We all commit one wrong or the other everyday especially females. You can't help it. You seduced your boss in one way or the other. You lead him to act that way. Just like Eve." He said with the patience of one explaining a complicated topic to a little child. Selena opened her mouth to launch a protest about his accusations but he held a finger against his lips. "Do not speak to me my child but speak to our father." He had already gotten rid of her shorts and now led her towards the bed .

The silhouette tilted its head again. “You trust them to protect you,” it said. “I trust them enough.” “Trust is inefficient.” “And control isn’t?” I shot back. “It is… reliable.” I folded my arms. “Then why didn’t your system work?” That got a reaction. Subtle. But real. The space around the silhouette flickered—just for a second. “Because it was incomplete.” “Or because it was flawed.” “Everything is flawed,” it said calmly. “Including what you built.”

My head whipped towards the direction of Vincenzo’s voice and I shivered at his gruff tone and swallowed at the darkness which surged behind his face. “I don’t think you’d be alive for too long, Little Ballerina.” Vincenzo added, using his left hand to hold his right bleeding arm. My throat was dried and patched, yet, I parted my lips, mustering up courage. “Why? I can survive in any situation.” I’ve always thought I could survive any situation but after what occurred in the hall, I was beginning to doubt. “You’re too fragile….” He paused, a dark smirk stretched in his lips. “Too breakable to survive in the world we live in.”

Zion said with a grin. "Yeah and she's gonna pay," Xander said, his eyes glinting with determination. "Don't do anything stupid or she's gonna smash your face next," Zion jested, making Xander give him a warning glare. "Alright... I won't say anything anymore," Zion said, raising his hands in defeat. ************************************************* "Can't believe my plan backfired, stupid man," Alexandria muttered as she put a piece of candy into her mouth to quench the lingering taste of the coffee. She shuddered when she remembered how it tasted when she drank it.

"Why should I? It's you." Rayan let out a soft laugh. "Do you believe me?" Crystal nodded, Rayan looked intensely at her. "It is not as simple as you think. Let's go." Crystal shook her head. "I do. I really believe you." "You're making the biggest mistake of your life. I'm not trustworthy. Actually, not now. Not with you." His seductive words made Crystal's heart went crazier, she bit her lower lip nervously. He stared deep into her ocean blue eyes, he cupped her cheek that was slowly turning red. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me for this." He swallowed hard before slowly leaning into her.

He tried it once and he regretted it. He once brought a woman he once loved to his father and to let him know they would be getting married but on sighting the magnificence of his father's mansion, and the valuables in the house, she became greedy. She knew she would gain alot if only she played her cards well. She didn't seem to understand that Wilberforce was a very wise man and nothing happens in his house without his notice whether there was a CCTV camera or not. All the while that she was with them, she kept looking around and touching every valuable her hands could touch. Wilberforce watched her closely and felt awkward towards her display.

She stuttered and fumbled, unsure of what to say as she started quivering like a cornered rabbit again. I groaned silently and spoke, "Do you know what is your fatal flaw? You're too naïve. You wholeheartedly try to rely on those who you think are powerful enough to protect you. You wear your heart in your sleeves and don't have any sense of the danger around you. How can you be sure that the person you've put your hopes on will not throw you away when he is done with you? You are not confident enough to stand up to those who wrong you, I doubt even with the right artilleries you can barely put a scratch on your enemies. What makes you think you are good enough to be my subordinate." Though

I know that many of you might be enraged because of their horrible pasts but I did warn you all from the beginning that this book is a DARK-ROMANCE for a reason. My characters are flawed because no one is perfect and that they were unfortunate victims of circumstances. This part was really hard for me to write, I'll be honest. Let me know your thoughts on it!
