The Empress and the Alpha

The Empress and the Alpha

I had never thought much about death. I saw myself as almost invincible. I was a twenty-one year old Empress who had the whole kingdom at her feet. People would literally die for me. As Posy said, I was a priority. Death seemed like something that would get me when I was one hundred and thirty-seven or something but not now. At least I died for a good cause, like my great grandfather Agaras. We died for our people because we loved them so much. I would go down in history as one of the best Empresses to rule over Gynem

I love this book so much. I’m glad I was a beta reader because it’s even better than when I first read it. I love the dynamic between Zelda and her family/people - as well as her dynamic with Penn and Hunter. I can’t wait to keep reading!!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

The Princess's second chance

The Princess's second chance

But, life in the palace was different from popular perception - it wasn't all fancy dress, tea parties, and balls, nor was it full of sycophantic nobles. After the empress died, leaving no children, the emperor chose my mother as his consort. She was the daughter of a wealthy marquis and was known throughout the empire for her beauty. But, after giving birth to Princess Camellia, her only child from a loveless marriage, she died mysteriously. I have been rejected by everyone since I was born, leading the empire to mourn once again. The emperor's wife was poisoned, but no one investigated who committed such a terrible act against a young mother who had recently given birth to her daughter.

He then reluctantly passed it to the Empress. The Empress did not even finish before she smashed her fist against the armrest. *Bang!* The left side disintegrated as her ion energy raged. "Wake the Sleeping Elders up! Tell them they will be executed if they do not attend!" The Empress felt her mind would go berserk if they did not come. "Traitorous dogs!"

The Woman In Her Empire

The Woman In Her Empire

My face burned. I looked away quickly. Shame wrapped itself around me like a heavy blanket. I was small. Weak. Vulnerable. What would he think of me now? What would Bryan do if he knew the truth? I wished I could run out of the room. I did not belong there. But Tasha stepped forward and broke the silence. She coughed. "There's something I have to say before we sign anything." Everyone turned to her. "I am not the CEO of Denim Group," she stated emphatically. "The real CEO is right here next to me."

Fated Dynasties

"They hate each other. They’d never coordinate on a hit that messy." "Precisely. It’s a setup. A brilliant one. And the rumor is, the warrants are being signed as we speak. They’re going to move tonight. At the gala. In front of the cameras, the champagne, and the high society of this country." I sat down heavily on the velvet ottoman. The "Fated Dynasties" gala. It wasn't a celebration. It was a trap. "If the cops move on them tonight..." "Then the empires fall together," Dante finished. "And whoever held the camera, whoever fed the police, gets to inherit the ruins. They get the contracts, the lanes, and the power, while we’re busy visiting our fathers in Pretoria Central."

Empire of Deception

Empire of Deception

Amelia's expression changed as she spoke about MID, anger and resentment coursing through her body. "We had faith in it," Amelia said, "and we decided to give it a try – and it worked. Her tumors started to shrink significantly, and she was feeling better than ever. We celebrated every single milestone along the way, every reduced scan or clean blood test. It felt like we were finally winning the battle." She paused to wipe away a tear, and I swallowed another drink of my wine, finishing the glass I had poured for myself. "Six weeks later, I was studying for finals, and I got a call from the hospital. Her tumors had grown out of control and killed her. It happened so fast, they didn't even h

Her Empire, His Terms.

Her Empire, His Terms.

"Legally, you don't exist. You're a ghost. And ghosts can't file for divorce." "No... no, that's impossible. I'm standing right here! The embassy—" "The embassy thinks you died of a violent fever in that prison, thanks to a very expensive medical report we procured," Natalie chimed in, leaning against the Mirror with her arms crossed. "You really underestimate how far a little bit of Qunnix money can go in developing nations, cousin." The room felt like it was spinning. "The prison... the drugs in my bag... it was you." The horrifying puzzle pieces were suddenly locking into place. "You set me up."

she tried to ask her question while her eyes were stuck on the lifeless organ in her hands. "I sent his body to my Hell." He informed her. "He will remain being tortured for the rest of his days until stated otherwise." "The children?" She asked. "What about them?" "None were present aside from a young woman and an infant." He mentioned. "A woman by the name of Emily." "Emily?" Her voice hitched slightly. "She's okay?" "She's better than okay now." He met Rayleigh's gaze. "She is also grateful to know that you're alright."

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

Culture, education and arts are their forte. “Come forward, my children.” The Emperor turns his bright golden eyes to us This close, he looks more intimating than he did before. But just as that fact becomes clearer, so does the fact that he must be ill. His skin is dull and sunken, and his fingers shake just slightly. I saw firsthand what happens when a Lycan loses their soulmate. The Empress passed away more than twenty years ago. And the Emperor is still alive and in his right mind. He must have formidable mental strength. If for nothing else, he has my respect for that.
