You were just the spare that worked. Liam stood in the middle of the wrecked cabin, looking like a mountain that had been hit by an avalanche. He had cuts on his arms and a bruise blooming dark on his cheek. But he wasn’t looking at the broken door or the snow drifting in. He was staring down at his own two hands, turning them over slowly. Faline was silent after that, weighing everything in her mind. “Very well," Faline finally said, and took a step toward the Blood Star. “I will follow you and give my life to you." General Dana Rein nodded her head and raised her one hand for a handshake. Faline took her hand only to have pain searing her eyes so intensely that she was blinded. The Blood Star released her hand and so Faline dropped to the ground and covered her eyes with both her hands.

She found it disgusting to hold another woman's dirty hands! "..." Dirty hands? If he was a dirty hand, then what about Cyrus's? Because of the little woman's words, William was already furious. From the corner of his eye, he saw the faint sneer in Cyrus's eyes. Looking at the little woman with a gloomy face, William took a few deep breaths to calm himself down a little. Paige glared at me fiercely and snarled, "You're lucky you are alive and happened to have a hidden camera installed. Otherwise, you would have been the one who lost!" When I heard her words, I smiled. "Is that so? However, it's useless even if you are the final winner. After all, Dominic is poor. Once we get a divorce, he'll be left with nothing. If I die unexpectedly, all my inheritance will be donated to the Red Cross. Neither of you will get a single penny!" Paige was a materialistic person. When she heard my words, she was furious and regretful. "You set me up, Carlee! You deserve to die!" She charged toward me as if I was the one who schemed.

"Shouldn't you be on your knees begging for your life? My men and I aren't going to spare any of you." Unfazed in the sight of danger, Williams let out a deep sigh, eyes fixated on his Beta; the man he once trusted the most. Williams was a man in his hundredth year, but he didn't look like it, rather, he looked like a man still in his youth with long dark flowing hair. He had hazel eyes; but unlike his son, his hazel eyes didn't glow in the dark. "I heard about the prophecy also," Williams said, standing up from his bed. He took a step forward, his hands aligned by his side. "But don't you think there can be a diplomatic way for this to be solved?"

Susan gently removed his hand. "Still, you need to go to the hospital for a proper checkup!" Williams insisted as he put on a frown. "Alright, I will go tomorrow morning before going to the company," Susan promised. "Tomorrow? That's impossible!" Williams suddenly said, and sit beside her. "How is that impossible?" Susan seems confused. "Have you forgotten that tomorrow is the full moon?" Williams stared at her. "Oh, of course, I remember! But how does that have anything to do with me? I don't have any powers anymore, so I'm free to roam about anyhow I like."

William replied, his hand sliding over her back before patting her ass possessively, a wicked gleam in his eyes. Vanessa’s lips curved into a dark, determined smirk. “We change our fate tonight,” she whispered, the words almost lost in her racing heartbeat. William’s smile widened, wild and hungry, as the intensity between them crackled like fire. Their eyes locked, an unspoken understanding passing between them, and within seconds, they were undressing, consumed by desire and urgency.
