"You can shift into your wolves to find her," Faye said, smirking devilishly once we were done counting and I rolled my eyes, seeing beyond her schemes. "I don't need to shift to find what's mine," Alec growled, and I nodded. "I'll stick to playing fair too." She frowned, her eyes insulting us even without saying a word. I guess she thought we were fools. Maybe we were. Shifting into our wolves might lead us to lose control and a lot of things can go downhill from there.

She began to feel dizzy and druzy, her eyes turned black, her knees gave way and she fell before she could hit the hard concrete ground Ivo saved her by grabbing her wrist on time.

She thought she'd get it all together with Rhea's help and once they had the moonstone, she could go back to the rest of their coven in Ohio and they would finally make the hybrids.
