Her knees went weak, she was going to fall but managed to stand still, she held her heart with her palm as it almost burst from her chest. “Nyssa….” he continued, “will you—” The door slammed open. Nyssa jumped in fear, and Lucien turned sharply. Alice burst into the room, almost breathless. Her eyes were wide with horror. “Alpha Lucien! Nyssa!” she gasped. Nyssa clutched her chest, still overwhelmed. “What is it?” Lucien demanded, standing immediately. Alice’s eyes darted between them, and they could sense her fear. “Alice what is wrong?” Nyssa asked.

By the time she arrived at the estate, dusk had settled, shadows stretching long across the driveway. Alice was waiting in the living room, face pale, eyes sharp. “What happened?” Lisa asked. Alice didn’t answer right away. She reached into her bag and pulled out the flash drive, placing it on the table between them like a loaded weapon. “I need you to listen carefully,” Alice said. “And I need you not to panic.” Lisa laughed nervously. “Why would I panic?” Alice looked at her then really looked at her and for the first time, Lisa saw fear in her mother’s eyes.

Alice "Help me!” It was the scream of a woman. Loud and piercing through the night air. The voice was filled with so much fear, and plea that it stood the paws of wolves; ears of faery, and the soul of the brooding white witch—the voice of the crying pierced through the night and pooled on the heart of Alice. Waking her up from sleep, she ran at an insane speed.

Alice walked out of the alley, and she raised her head to look at the brighter red moon in the sky and put her hand against the wall, breathing heavily. “Hah.. hah.. hah..” The sweat drenched her forehead, and the late-night wind blew to make her feel cold. Alice lifted her hand earlier with a knife and slashed the skinhead, unable to control it but trembling constantly. The indignation had given her the courage to cut off his ear, and now it was uncontrollable panic and suspense.

Alice replied casually. Lexy fell silent for a moment, trying to digest the words that had just come out of Alice's mouth. "What did you just say? You mean genderuwo, demons, and ghosts are afraid of me?" Lexy responded, pointing his index finger at himself. Alice nodded in response. "Gosh, you're crazy!"
