In spite of my initial fear of being this close to him, feeding him also brought some strange sense of satisfaction. A part of me felt pleased he was accepting from me while he was cruel to everyone else. We continued that way in silence till he finished all the food on the tray. His appetite had improved and that made me happy. Alfred would be glad to hear it too.
