🥀 CLARA'S POV 🥀 My heart felt like it had been shattered into a million pieces, each one piercing my soul like a shard of glass. The pain was overwhelming, a crushing weight that threatened to consume me. I felt empty, and hollow, like a part of me had been ripped away. Every breath I took felt like a struggle, every beat of my heart a reminder that the person I love would never love me back. My heart was broken, extremely broken, and I didn't know how to put it back together again. All I could do was hold on to the fragments, and hope that someday, somehow, I would find a way to heal.

It was my heart. Shattered. Broken. Beyond repair. And I didn't know how to fix it.

I was the misfit that was such a pathetic loser that now I finally understood why on earth would anyone truly ever want to remind with me, they can like me, but he was right, everyone was, in the end they would run and I would be left alone. At last, I was the real definition of broken, pathetic, and loveless.... The phone slipped from my hand, it was an accident, so I tried to catch it with my shaking hand, but when I failed, and it shattered on the floor, and switches off, I looked at the broken pieces of the screen that was just like...me "You won" I felt the wetness on my cheeks, it was tears, and I had expected them sooner.

It's like a knife twisting in my heart with every laugh. I couldn't hold back the tears anymore; they flowed freely down my cheeks, tracing the path of my brokenness.

My phone slipped out of my hand, falling to the floor so suddenly that a cracked screen was left as a souvenir from the impact of the fall. It was like a physical representation of how my heart was slowly cracking in my chest breaking into tiny little pieces as I battled to gain a hold of my emotions trying and failing. The stab of betrayal went deeper than I could ever imagine, the blade twisting mercilessly and my eyes pooled up with tears that rolled down my cheeks like waterfalls.

The stress and the pain would be intensified by a thousandfold to the day she was undone. “In fact, there’s no reason for me to love you again. Once a mirror is shattered, you can never get it back to its original state, despite your best efforts. “It’s like my heart was broken into pieces. But then she stopped and turned to face him again as if she forgot to say something. Jada then went straight to her room while Lyken was rooted in his place. After everything she said so far, that last statement was the most heartbreaking. Of course, she really won't regret breaking up with him after what she saw. Who wouldn’t when everything she saw scarred her heart? Someone tapped Lyken’s shoulder, it was Kobe. Then Honey hugged him, she was crying. He knew she's hurt seeing her best friend like this. It was the same for him.

“I’m useless.” The glass that held my world together let out a crippling sound as it shattered.

I placed my palm on my cheek and faced her again. “Fuck you, b*tch!” I snapped. She stepped back and stared into my eyes, pain creeping into her like a trail of soldier ants, then she dashed out. My chest rose and fell. I thought I could love her, but she was just a cheap whore, nothing more. I took out my phone again and dialed a number. It rang twice before the person picked up. “She broke up… I’ve lost her,” I blurted out in a hoarse voice.

He starts sobbing almost immediately, and her heart breaks for him. “Oh, Sweetie. That’s it let it all out. I’m here. I love you. I can take your sadness, as much as your anger. I will bear it all to have you. Do you hear me.” He nods, still sobbing and clinging to her. “I have had people angry at me for most of my life for one reason or another, and most of them would have killed me if I couldn’t handle it. I am not easily broken. Hurt, yes. Damaged, yes. But broken? Only one man ever broke me, and that was by dying in front of me.”
